IN WHICH I ACCOMPLISHED SOMETHING
To my two loyal readers -- maybe three at this point? -- you can't say I don't keep my promises. I said I would finish the initial draft of my newest Burritoverse story, entitled Rarity Pays For Burritos, before the weekend, and I have done so. Word-count-wise it falls right smack in the middle of my Burrito stories ("Adagio" and "Aria" being shorter; "Sunset" and "Sonata" being longer).
In addition to my usual practice of sitting on stories to see if there's anything I want to change after looking at a story with fresh eyes, I'm waiting to see if I can get permission to use a specific pic as the image. Hopefully that'll happen and I won't have to trawl Derpibooru to seek out something else.
It also happens to contain a couple of oblique references to another author's (much longer and better) story that gave me a subtle shout-out -- I figured I'd respond in kind and I hope he won't mind.
Anyway, that's two one-shots I've completed but have yet to publish. Look forward to them soon!
