"Hey Ted, remember when you said you'd work on another blogpost right after your last one?"
I did, thanks for nagging me. But as I'm sure you're well familiar with, Reality™ has a peculiar way of giving you something to do when you've already done that yourself---not to mention, for once, I'd woefully underestimated my wordcount. But after cooking for a month, I've finally done it.
I am first going to admit that Self-Inserts have never been my cup of tea. Even when I was a teenager and young man participating in role-playing games, I preferred pretending to be someone else. But I do think that it is possible to write a self-insert reasonably well and here I will briefly discuss how to do it.
So, on a bit of a whim I created a new group called Happily Forever After. I've grown tired of stories and artwork showing agelessness as the worst thing ever. So, rather than just complaining, I decided to do something a bit constructive. This group will be for stories and artwork that show characters being immortal in a positive or fairly neutral light.
Faster-Than-Light technology has stopped. Every advanced artificial intelligence has disappeared. Eight-hundred-million lives teeter on the edge, a fortnight from starvation. In the midst of it all, Detective Marion Clay is hunting for a psychic terrorist, a being so dangerous that her colleagues aren't even allowed to know they exist. She has sixty hours. No leads, no description, and no air conditioning.
At least it's not retirement.
Hi hi, everypony!
This is a helpful, handy little bit of cross-promotion to my FiMC:C audience to let you know I'm publishing another story this afternoon (the 14th December) at 6pm GMT, a sequel to Relaxing Celestia called A Night on the Leash. When the story goes up, that url will become live.
Hi everypony!

IN WHICH I AWAIT THE GUILLOTINE'S DROP
I'm not looking forward to next Friday. I know very few people who are. That day, incidentally, is also the second anniversary of my posting my first story on this site. As with last year, I am preparing a Mayor Mare story for y'all that will be posted sometime that day. Will it be any good? I can't promise that. I never do.
Hi everypony!
Of late, I've been working on a sequel to Celestia Kneels Before Her Queen, and it's just about done!
On Saturday, at 6PM GMT, I'll be publishing Twisting Twilight. Chrysalis, having thoroughly brainwashed Celestia, now sets her sights on the next largest threat to her eventual victory. Celestia will make the perfect pawn in defeating Twilight... if Chrysalis can overcome her slave's last pesky shreds of morality when it comes to Celestia's most prized student.
I just realized that I don’t like a lot of shonen anime. I honestly don’t know what’s weirder, the fact that I am just barely figuring this out or the fact that this surprises me. This discovery came about when one of my brothers made me watch an episode of Dragon Ball Z Abridged with him, which led to a conversation with my sister about the biology of Super Saiyans based on an article she found on the internet, which led to me realizing that a lot of Dragon Ball Z made
Shower with your Mom simulator! Changing Equestrian nudity taboos narrated at length! Inverse square law of horniness! Gratuitous polygon reference! Further, somewhat contradictory discussion of Equestria nudity taboos! Not very gratuitous sex! The squeaky wheel gets extra work . traumatic backstory! Actual trauma!
Another chapter on deck for Thursday.
That's all I ever do! I can't improve or make things better no matter what! Not my stories, or things outside of Fimfiction! I can't do anything right! All I ever do is make others mad and make things worse than what I intended! Why can't I do anything right?!
All I do is hurt others, mess things up, and act like a terrible, awful person. Why do I keep doing this? What could be the source of the problem? What's wrong with me? I don't know if I could ever improve because all I ever do is ruin everything and make things worse no matter what.
Can someone at least tell me what's wrong with me?
Hello!
I'm Fat Man, I decided to tell a little bit about myself because I thought it would be interesting to do so.
Um...where to start...I like writing! I enjoy the creative process of putting something into words, I'm still a novice by most standards but I'm hoping/working to get better. I also enjoy reading HIE stories a lot.
Good evening!
My new story, Coming Home has been published. It's a piece, as I have been turned of late, about family and reconnecting after a mistake. Why am I writing so many of these? Well... I had my own falling out with my family. Coming Home is closer to what I experienced in my own family troubles so long ago. It's not what I experienced, but some of what I experienced is there.
Reconnecting with estranged family is difficult at times.
I'm Livestreaming! playing some Necropolis - join chat, ask me questions, watch me murder things, talk about ponies! Come hang out! I just might be answering questions about Discovering Friendship and other fics as well *wink* *wink*
So, I just got sixty-nine followers. The child within me said, "yep, that's literally worthy of a blog post".
So... where to begin.
Okay, so this blog is for one of my bigger works that's currently published. What it Means, a self-insert revolving around the hero, Dee, and his adventures outside of Equestria. It was something I was quite proud to have published and I'm happy with the positive reception it's gotten and how far it's come.
As per the usual, I SHOULD be working on something halfway productive (theoretically, I'll wrap up Five Friendly Venoms by the end of the month, but I make no promises). But! I stumbled across A THING.
