    River City Equestria Girls?

Seriously, that's Pinkie Pie on the left, and Rainbow Dash on the right. Tell me I'm wrong.

I will not write a fanfic about the two of them getting into all the fights.

    Probably.

An "I don't have livejournal anymore" sort of update.

    It snowed yesterday.

Which just reminded me how much I don't like winter. It wasn't even a bad snow, just enough of a dusting to linger for a little bit. First one of the season. And I even had the day off from work, due to my schedule, so it's not like I had to do anything ...

    So I didn't.

    Happy Halloween!

So yeah. Despite various distractions (Steam had Darkest Dungeon for UNDER FOUR BUCKS), I've managed to hammer out a ridiculously shippy conclusion to the self indulgent Rarijack story I started.

So that's fun? I gave myself a deadline to finish things on Oct 31, so that's what I did, dangit. Hopefully you guys will enjoy.

Boosting the Bronycon Bookstore? · 8:07pm Aug 25th, 2018

As per the usual, I SHOULD be working on something halfway productive (theoretically, I'll wrap up Five Friendly Venoms by the end of the month, but I make no promises). But! I stumbled across A THING.

Namely, Aquaman (not the Jason Momoa one, I presume) is thinking about setting up a "fanfic bookstore" at the last Bronycon. And, y'know ... it's that kind of wild, go-for-broke idea that may be the thing that pushes me into attending BronyCon 2019 rather than EFNW.

(Also I'd love to get on a panel about writing silly horsewords for one of said conventions. Don't you do something along those lines, PresentPerfect?)

But yeah. Since I am a pretentious ass, I'm vaguely considering putting together a compilation of Flash Sentry stories to be compiled in hardcopy for this purpose. Mostly 'cause most of my other work is only loosely connected, since I don't quite have the attention span to write a doorstopper a-la Fallout: Equestria or what have you.

If nothing else, I could justify it to myself as practice for 'actual' book formatting because I'm gonna write something that's not about magical horse cowards someday I swear. Though adding in the footnotes will probably make things complicated but hey, the challenge is part of the fun, right?

Which, of course, makes one wonder-- are there any amongst you who A) Are going to BronyCon, and B) Would pay cash-moneys for a hardcopy of my work? It'd be a super-duper limited print run for a one-off thing, so I just want to make sure I don't make too many copies and wind up having to explain a crate full of unsold fanfiction to customs or whatever.

Might even see if I can get WhiteDiamonds to do the cover. HMMM.

So would I.

Possibly A, definitely B! In fact, even if I can't attend the con, I would love to get a copy somehow. I printed my books (and others) through Lulu, and if you choose that site and have any questions or problems, please feel free to ask me.

Also, my stuff was footnote-heavy, and I found LibreOffice to be pretty easy to use for formatting them.
