Noble Thought

I sometimes pretend I have a posting schedule other than "sometime soon."

    Personal life disruption

Hey, everyone. I felt I owed you all an explanation for why it's now two weeks past the last scheduled update for Primrose War.

So, I've had a bit of a personal upheaval. I'm moving forward with building a house, not immediately, but there's been a lot of talking with friends and family about what it'll mean going forward. So that's one thing.

    Unexpected Hiatus

Hello everyone. I wanted to apologize for the lengthy, unexpected hiatus of The Primrose War. It was definitely unplanned, and this time I haven't been writing. Work, leading up to the holidays, has been more stressful than usual with the rush to get things done before I take my two week end-of-year vacation.

    Next chapter delayed

Hello everyone! I apologize, but the next chapter of Primrose War will be delayed by a bit. Between work and a few novel releases that I've been looking forward to, I haven't made as much progress as I wanted to on the next chapter. I do have a solid outline, though, for the rest of the book as well as part of the next, so I haven't been idle.

New Story out: Coming Home · 10:50pm Sep 30th, 2015

Good evening!

My new story, Coming Home has been published. It's a piece, as I have been turned of late, about family and reconnecting after a mistake. Why am I writing so many of these? Well... I had my own falling out with my family. Coming Home is closer to what I experienced in my own family troubles so long ago. It's not what I experienced, but some of what I experienced is there.

Reconnecting with estranged family is difficult at times.

I hope you all enjoy it. I even cobbled together a cover image for it out of comic parts. The background is from the Wild West comic, and, well, Marian is from Friends Forever #9.

Coming Home

Full Image

Marian, a recent graduate from the prestigious Manehattan School of Library Sciences, returns home to Dodge Junction to found a library. To do so, she must face the sister she ran away from after making a terrible mistake.

Her sister, Cherish, who holds the keys to her dream.

I've been sitting on this story for quite some time... I wanted to get it done. Thank you to the Character Contest #1, Marian in the Weekly Contests group for giving me the impetus to write it.

Toodles!

Good to see this one out. I was glad to help with it, and I'm glad to hear you were able to channel some of your history into something positive like this.

Oh, neat! A story with personal significance. I'll get started on reading that.

Inasmuch as I ever read things in a timely manner. I'm getting better, I promise!
