Curious about my presentation about character hooks at Everfree Northwest?
I have modified, slightly expanded, and uploaded the PowerPoint presentation I gave, in PDF form. All of the information I went over during my presentation (including a couple things people asked questions about) should be in there now.

Okay, so I am currently making a story with a Daring Do Bimboifciation, and I realized that seemed like an uncommon choice for Bimboification. That got me thinking, so I'm asking you this question.
What are characters you don't usually think of when you think of 'Bimboification'
Been meaning to do another one of these, so enough prevaricating about the bush!
Red Dead Redemption is, no lie, perhaps one of my favorite games on the PS3. I'm pretty sure I've driven my poor friend who owns one completely insane because I'm constantly playing it and have been for awhile now, either running around in the post story free roam mode for kicks or replaying the story because I mean, come on, this game has a good story. Hey y'all, Arta checking in. Here's the skinny.
Just taking a few days for myself, taking a well-needed writing break. I've been doing a fair bit of writing the past few weeks, so yeah, I just needed some me-time to recoup and recharge the writing batteries.
They've got a rather two dimensional house, and a rather large flat-screen TV which is elevated up so you can see it through their glass front door.
I look in, and notice there's robes and a wizard hat on the screen.
I stand in my driveway, staring. A few moments later, it zooms out, and fireworks!
Yup, it's Trixie.
Apparently my neighbors are watching the season 6 finale of MLP as I write this. And not a version with commercials, either, so not on TV. 
I'm about to get really, really real here guys. So if You don't want to read my venting, stop reading now. Okay? Okay.
Yet again, thanks to everyone for making Vice Principal Luna Has Pretty Eyes a hit! I never would've thought one of my embarrassing junior high stories would've gotten me so many likes on FiMFiction, but it goes to show that inspiration can come from the strangest places. I'll definitely write the other two someday, and know that Dean Cadance Has A Cute Laugh is practically begging to be an awkward Shining Armor fic. But here I am, Civviq Writer. I am still alive! My time - and drive - have just been dissolved by the exams. They still are being dissolved, by the way. But I'm doing fine. To be honest, I haven't been writing much, and if anything it's mostly for myself, for practice. I think I can say that I have improved a bit.

So, i am now in ownership of a vehicle. cool. wow. the issue is that i wasn't planning on having to do any maintenance on top of paying for my overpriced insurance (you get charged extra for liability when you're a delivery monkey) my fucking car now has a flat. cool. awesome. toooootaly didn't need that money in my account for anything else.
The last few several minutes of my day, a dramatization:
"Huh, I never expected my little Discord oneshot to do so well. Featured Box is cool enough, but this is the fifth day with it in there. People like their draconequus shenanigans, I guess. I'm curious about the analytics, though; I wonder if my TV Tropes page for the Eventide Verse is actually bringing in any fresh clicks..."

If you saw the post I put a few nights back, you'll know things haven't been going that well for me. I'm still upset and frustrated, but I've managed to get an extension on my college work and am catching up with the class. I can't go back in time and get my contest entry in like I wanted, but I'll take what I can at this point...
I couldn't sleep tonight, and I was bored, so I thought I'd come on here and write a long blog post. Fair warning, I'll be using a fuck load of equipment jargon in this post. If you don't know what I'm talking about, click here for an Imgur album I made explaining what everything is.
I wanted to talk about WW2 equipment and, more specifically, reenacting. This'll be a more of a stream of consciousness thing, so bear with me.
