Long day no time for pastel ponies, try again tomorrow, sorry
Long day no time for pastel ponies, try again tomorrow, sorry
As you'll probably know by now, I've stopped this user account on Fimfiction. I'm no longer operating here. I want bigger and better things, so I'm moving where I can be with those who are into what I'm after and want out of life.
Just a quick announcement that "Reaping Rainbow: A Very Grim Hearth's Warming" will be the next story I give some attention to. The story had a very warm reception and some great enthusiasm, and the only reason I wasn't able to give it some love was because Passing Familiarity was still being finished and needed more of my creative energy. Now that I'm getting back into things, you can look forward to seeing more Pratchett-style hijinks with Rainbow and her buddy Death in the near
Welp, folks, I feel like crap now. I just realized the books I was browsing through amazon for to get a feel for price range were physical books, and the $15.00 price I thought was cheap next to what I was seeing was, in fact, money-grubbing levels of expensive for an e-book. You have my most heartfelt apologies for that. I don't buy many books nowadays, so I was out of the loop. I've submitted something to amazon to change the price from $15.00 to $8.00, which falls more in line with
Armed with my newfound computational capability, the dumps from Fimfarchive and the tool I I'm building, I've decided to start two new machine learning projects:
More info from those two on my next posts later today
Also I'm putting Pony_TxT back on the freezer where it belongs (for now)
Ah, it feels so good to have that old creative spark back. When I said that Chapter 6 inspired me, I meant it. So now that the Misty Saga is over, I’m planning a fresh wave of standalone stories. Most of these will probably be one-shots, but a couple might be lengthy narratives. It really depends. With writing for Izzy Moonbow: Beyond The Multiverse of Randomness not slated to begin until mid January, I have some time on my hooves to really dig in and expose the fresh mountain of gold
It seems that fandom drama is not healthy for the writing spirit. Especially not if said drama has been started by an extremist cult leader on Twitter and his followers and if it endangers one of the most important bastions in our fandom and causes an unspeakable amount of pony art to disappear forever.
Fluttercheer here, contacting you from the shadows. It's now one and a half months since my last story release and I still have a recent multi-chapter fic to continue and finish that is sitting there untouched for three months now, so I wanted to give you a bit of information about my next story and show that I am still alive.
So maybe I should slow down but that would me less writing which just isn't going to happen. I hope you like them though. Don't worry I won't be killing anypony anytime soon. Well save for the villagers and what not.
I know that I never really talk about anything that I feel is wrong with my life in blog posts.
It seems a little narcissistic to complain about my life when I know there are plenty of LGBT+ folks who’ve had it so much worse than an unsupportive ‘friend’ and insensitive parents.
That’s gotta be the shortest auto-queue time I’ve ever gone through. Well, I’m not complaining. The story is posted! Feel free to give it a read and let me know what you think. I’m quite interested to hear what you all have to say in regards to this one, especially since there’s a lot of original concepts that I put in with regards to our main characters. And yes, since Make Your Mark has moved far beyond this series so far, I want anyone not familiar with the timeline to know that it is
That’s right, everypony, I’ve just finished writing and editing the second chapter of Redeemed 5 minutes ago at the time of me writing this blog post! The release date of the 23rd for the second chapter is officially locked in and will NOT be changed! Man, it feels so good to actually keep a planned release date for once. Now if if only I had the same luck with that other big thing I’m working on (*wink wink*). In the meantime, those of you who haven’t read or posted your thoughts on
I have two things here I'd like to say. First one:
Thank you very much for giving my new story, How to Catch a Twilight, and helping it reach the featured box within only ten hours of its publication! You're all awesome!
Just in case anybody missed the last blog, my reading of Aces High chapter 1 is public now, for those that want to check it out.
Hopefully I did well.
Hello, everypony! I am so proud to announce that the first chapter of Redeemed has been officially published and is ready to be seen by all of you! The end of an era is upon us, my friends, and the epic story that began with Worthless a year ago is about to officially conclude. Sorry for the one-day delay as I needed to give this chapter a bit more time to cook in the writing room before putting it out. But now it's ready!
As you know, I currently participate in GaPJaxie's "Next Generation" contest. Writing the story for it happened in a different approach that I haven't tried out to writing before and it was hard pulling this off, so writing it took me much longer than expected.
