I Finally Finished ‘Redeemed!’ · 10:53am Nov 22nd, 2023
That’s right, everypony, I’ve just finished writing and editing the second chapter of Redeemed 5 minutes ago at the time of me writing this blog post! The release date of the 23rd for the second chapter is officially locked in and will NOT be changed! Man, it feels so good to actually keep a planned release date for once. Now if if only I had the same luck with that other big thing I’m working on (*wink wink*). In the meantime, those of you who haven’t read or posted your thoughts on this behemoth of a first chapter yet should do so now or whenever you all get the chance. I want as many people caught up on the story as possible before the last chapter drops. So now’s your heads up. And if you’re feeling extra fancy, feel free to read up on the Mane Five Saga as well while you’re at it (canon entries consisting of I’m Looking Out For You, Divine Flight, and Sunny’s Promise) as this will be the culmination of all those stories, just like Avengers: Endgame was the concluding chapter to a decade of the Infinity Saga.
A year’s worth of interconnected storytelling ends at 12:00 AM tonight, my friends. Let me just say, y’all are not ready. See you all then!

Thanks! Well, having finally gotten this massive series-closer out the door, I want to go back to my roots and start publishing standalone stories again as that’s where I shine best in my opinion, where I don’t have to worry about a sprawling continuity and just write whatever I feel like. Chapter 5 has given me a ton to work with, and I’m sure Chapter 6 will give me even more. So although the G5 Universe will soon be coming to an end, it is certainly not the end of G5 stories coming from me, that’s for sure.

I want to write something G5 related at last too. Currently, I have a one-shot planned about Sunny, Hitch and Zipp and one between Sunny and Opaline based on a rather brutal scene from a game.

The first is called "A Second Chance". When Sunny learns about Hitch and Zipp being a couple, she realises her own feelings for Hitch and when Zipp has to go back to Zephyr Heights to take over as queen and Hitch has to stay behind due to his sheriff duties, she realises she has gotten a second chance to be with him.
The other is called "Fates Worse Than Death" and is based on the opening cutscene of Mortal Kombat 11.

I can’t wait to read them. And…oh dear. One of my own planned upcoming stories is called “A Second Chance” and it’s a sequel to the G5 IDW Discord comic. I think I might have to change the title of that story so that it doesn’t interfere with yours.

I wouldn't worry. Who knows if they'll actually get done. I even started another story back at my old fanfiction net account so there's that too.
You've worked so hard for this, Admiral, and whatever comes next, whether it be G5 or not, we're all gonna be rooting for you!
