As for me? Well, I just clicked the button to upload the final manuscript for Starforge. Which, in case you weren’t aware, comes out next Tuesday. The 29th of November. We made that release window after all.
Wow, it’s been silent this week, hasn’t it? There was Monday’s excellent—in my opinion, anyway—Being a Better Writer post and then just … silence. Nothing on Tuesday, which is normal. But then nothing on Wednesday or Thursday either.
I don't blog about readings all that much, but when I get ones that really raise the bar, I do like to show them around a bit. This one is definitely one of those.

Hello Chaps and Chapettes.
I don’t know quite how to approach this second entry in any other way than to tell you that I’m a big ol’ liar.
Always have been it seems, from the days I told small fibs (that’s lies to my US pals) about not hitting my brother as a kid to when I said I definitely completed that report for work, while just starting it. It seems that one filthy untruth leads to another and I don’t quite know how to stop it or even if I should at all.
When I said it'd be out in a week or two, I didn't expect me to then complete it like four days later. Not recommended but I was in a zone.
Don't ask me how I wrote pretty much 8k words in like a week. I don't know how I did it. (Note: some of that was lost in multiple edits, but the story just spilled on out once I got to a part) This had a disgusting amount of rewrites on my end throughout the entire chapter.
