Hi, all!
I'm sending out the invoices this weekend, so do me a solid and check out the order forms for the physical edition of "Sensation."
I'm going to order a couple extras, but unless you show your interest through the order forms, I can't guarantee I'll have one for you in the future. Don't wait, because it's really happening!
I recently finished 2 books: The Worst of Bad Horse (described here) and Stupid Unicorn (a picture book). Both will be available both at Bronycon, and by mail (which costs more because shipping). (I might possibly have copies at Trotcon or Capclave this month, but I won't be selling them in the dealer's room.)
Honestly, I was going to hold off on a second post this week until Thursday (I’m blitzing through edits on Jungle right now) but this post had already been on my mind, and then a discussion yesterday online regarding MacMillan’s continued crusade against libraries basically poured gasoline over the spark and, well … Here we are.
There's a lot of not shipping Sunset going on right now. You know what would fix that? A good old fashioned contest of shipping Sunset.
Been almost a week now. Kinda surprised how fast and slow the days are going. I'm... well, I'm not dying from grief. I'm not recovered completely, and I think I need to make some changes at home before that recovery really happens, but I'm not drowning myself in alcohol or anything like that, so I guess I'm kinda middling on how I'm doing
“I’m guessing it’s about how much we owe to Ponyville,” replied Suri. “How Rarity helped us find Coco, and get rid of Mosely, and get the Oranges off our scent, and get rid of Mosely in court, and now I’m sure she’s going to help us do some other amazing thing. I’d tell the whole story, but I’m pretty sure it’s too big to fit in a book, mmkay?”
Progress has slowed down of late as I've shifted focus to The Lawyer and The Unicorn. I know I said I was looking at a mid-month release, but I think at this point it would be far more appropriate to launch the next book on September 1st, which is date the war begins in the story... and when WWII began, for that matter. Yes, that's more than a coincidence.
Hey there, all!
Just a quick update that I've received the art and PDF proofs for "Sensation." It needs a couple tweaks to the art stupid hardcover creases, but after that, I'll sign off and get the physical proof. Here's the current timeline, assuming nothing goes wrong:
Wednesday: I send the art back with the changes
Thursday: I sign off on the proof
Wednesday the 28th: I get the physical proof (and use it to prep the boxes to be mailed out to everyone)
Hey there, all!
Reminder that the order forms for the physical copy of "Sensation" are now live! You can find all the info here.

Masked up, went to the comic book store. Support local businesses, whoo. And the nice lady behind the counter didn't even put me on a list for getting this comic book and an Immortal Hulk trade at the same time! Neat!
Written by Neil Gaiman and drawn by Andy Kubert, “Whatever Happened to the Caped Crusader” is a most unique comic. Published in the aftermath of Batman’s supposed death, this two-issue miniseries was intended to close out the main Batman book as well as Detective Comics. It was, in essence, to be "the last Batman story.”
This post has been on my mind for a few months now. Like others, it’s being written in advance for posting. But in a way I’m glad, because I’ve already written it once and retooled it. After some consideration, I think the best way to go with this post is to be short and sweet.
So, folks, there's gonna be three last blogs on the book, I think... This one, one on release day, and one for when I get paperbacks, hardcovers, and the audiobook in order and out. As it turns out, the magic of digital printing means I can publish physical copies no sweat. I just need to look a bit more into them first.
