I’ve got three quick questions:
Well, it happened. I've reached another milestone. One of my readers started a TV Tropes page for A Tale of Two Suns!

Welcome back writers to another installment of Being a Better Writer, where today we have a pretty cool subject to talk about. So I hope you’re ready.
Any tropers out there, please go help the page out!
It is a work in progress and I am doing what I can for it, but I am going to be very busy over the next couple days. Going to do a small story update soon making the same announcement, but thought I'd put it out there now that it has some basic things up and running.
Hope you all have a good night,

Hey guys so I was looking through the internet when I suddenly had a thought, see there’s a site called TV tropes where you can find things called Tropes which are things that describe a person/Group/work and so on, I currently go by the name comet9 on the site and had made a TV tropes page about
Early stages in development:
That blogpost that started it all
Deleted scene from when the fic was meant to be dark comedy (yes, you read that right)
Reviews:
Please give them a good read and comment. These guys did a very amazing job at pulling the fic apart and examining it.

Something you’ll often hear when picking up reviews or word-of-mouth for new books that happen to be particularly praiseworthy is that something is “fresh” or “clever.” Maybe that it “does something new with the genre” or that it’s managed to put a “new twist on old ideas.”
If Talon Ted wasn't stupid, #5 would end in three pages. First of all, his motive for rejecting offers is petty and weak. Second, he can make his own company that hires people by his standards, as he has both a wage big enough to make a charity and a colossal amount of money from an accident. That way he follows his dream, even surpasses it, and even keeps his pride and that of others like him! Third, why didn't he try to go to auditions before his sister made him get a
Shortly after my second story appeared on TV Tropes site, I now have a creator's page on TV Trope site as well!
WARNING!!! SPOILERS!!!
Seriously, I'm talking potentially major plot-point stuff here. If you don't want to be spoiled, DON'T READ IT!!!
That said, if you feel up to helping, head on down the line. Just remember, these are potential spoilers. You have been warned.

Why Am I Crying HAS A TV TROPES PAGE!
GO ON NOW AND ADD TO IT! PLEASE! THANKS TO THOSE WHO PUT IT UP!
I've always tried my best to put a bit of the theatrical spirit within If You Give a Little Love, and just for fun, right now I'd like to show you a little bit of how a slightly more obscure play made it into the story. If you don't care about this sort of thing, please feel free to just read the new excerpt, ignore my Twilight-style lecturings about the history hidden behind the passage, and skip straight to the stars at the end for something that I want everyone to see. But if this
The following is my own personal list of the most detested, bemoaned gripes and tropes I have found, and even some ways to avoid them, while reading stories here on FIMFiction. Your mileage may vary. They are things I intend to include, or avoid, while I struggle to write my own narrative.
What kind of name is:
Stone Heart's name. Usually, a pony's name corresponds with their respective talent, but his name isn't connected to either waste management (his job) or writing (his hobby).
The key word there is "USUALLY" as in "Not all the time"
[EXAMPLES INCLUDED AT THE END]
There is a certain kind of story that I love. But I've yet to find any name for the trope, or genre, or whatever it is that connects the stories. This is a problem as it makes looking for more stories like this a real chore. It surprises me that the connection doesn't exist considering the litany of fairly specific tropes you can find on TVTropes.com.
Hey folks! First and foremost, the next chapter will be coming out shortly. Probably tomorrow or Tuesday.
But speaking of this arc, I feel like I ought to say something. I'm aware that a number of readers have voiced, shall we say, "concerns" about this extended finale arc (or at least the flashback arc we're currently in). I'd like to address that for a bit. If you care to read, check after the break...
Welcome back, readers, to another Being a Better Writer post!
I never thought this would happen, but someone actually created a TV Tropes page of my story, Through the Eyes of Anon-a-Miss!
https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Fanfic/ThroughTheEyesOfAnonAMiss
I'm... honored. I don't know who made that, but I wanted to say... thank you to whoever thought my story is worth including on that site!
If anyone's interested, check it out!
