Well. I've thought about this for a while, and have decided that this is how I'll handle Barricade and Blueblood from now on.
For stories where I've already established my OC Captain Barricade as Fluttershy's mother, those shall be considered alternate universe stories.
However, I like Barricade a lot. So she will be featured in future stories that have Fluttershy's canon mother. Only in those stories, Barricade will be Fluttershy's aunt.
As for Blueblood...
Part 6 of 7, so this is what I'd call a "pre-finale" if I had to give it a special name. This is in the second performance of "Illusions" but the dialogue from the play is NOT the main focus, so you'll only get to know parts of it. Sorry. Like I said, if enough people (with high enough levels, I'd say 3 people of level 5 or higher) ask me, I'll write "Illusions" as its own story on Wattpad. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this pre-finale.

No, this is not a biblical reading. It's a Starbourne story. (My fictional universe is called Starbourne in case you didn't know. Anyway...)
This is a story I have written and rewritten in notebook after notebook, Google Doc after Google Doc... but I've never been able to perfect it. And here's yet another rough draft of said story. It's about Simon and Lana (PM me for details about my Starbourne characters) when they were teens. (Before Simon met Eveline)
Interesting, IDW comics FF: They don't apologize for Blue Blood's flaws, and Celestia is fully aware of them when she gives SA Blue Blood as a replacement for Cadence on a important trade agreement to the Yaks. (they could have made Cadence look pregnant at least). Since something happens that needs all four Alicorn's attention.

Part 5 of 7, this is the part where Simon finally meets a member of the audience... who happens to be someone very special. Someone he'd imagined he'd meet, but never imagined that it would be in the audience of his own play. Anyway... enjoy.
And so the play continued... Theodore, playing Dragonheart, lay next to Lana, playing Moonflower, and closed his eyes. He muttered an incantation under his breath, so as not to alert Duplicati what he was doing.
This is part 4 out of what I'm officially now deciding is gonna be a 7-part story... we're only about halfway done right now... if even. Jaydove (played by Simon) and the rest of the choir will be singing their song to awaken Moonflower... (played by Lana) nothing else will be revealed until you read the part.

Derply here, bringing you another end of the month status update on The Poisoned Barb's Tale!
March was a bit wild for me irl, so unfortunately I wasn't able to produce nearly as much as I wanted to. The updates on gen five we received during this time certainly relit my passion for ponies, but with no real time to focus it into writing the energy kinda went... pft.
There was also one other hurdle that got in the way...
I guess I made my 975th one pretty meaningful, as I did announce the sources of much of the inspiration for my Starbourne series in it. I intend to make my 993rd to 999th blogs another Starbourne story, but I'm thinking there should be a shorter one here and now. Just one to three blog posts, not seven. It'll be a filler story, between Simon's Exodus and Simon's Experience. What do you guys think? Should I do it? Or should I avoid filler and stick to the main plot?
This is the third part in this story... I'm pretty sure that part 4 or 5 will be the last... but IDK. It starts in the morning of the day after the previous two parts, so Simon has now officially just come of age... at seventeen. (It's fiction. Deal with it.) In case you didn't know, this is 400 years in the future, so if the "800 years ago" part is confusing, that's why I said it instead of "400 years ago" OK?
Part 7 of 7, the finale of Simon's Exodus. The second "blog story" as it were will be called "Simon's Experience" for reasons you can probably guess... (it involves his relationship with Eveline, and her teaching him about Ferian magic) Anyway, I'm trying to make this longer... so I hope you like it and stuff.
I would rewind my VHS of Zombie Island over and over and over to watch this sequence. I am impressed how Prince managed to give it a somehow more grimdark tone (on the visual level) with Ponies and a smaller animation budget.
