"You're not a burden, my love" Simon comforted his partner, Prince Lucian. "You're all 7,634,420,069,142,002,387,487,862,912 stars in my sky, Luce. And I love how brightly you shine"

Simon's Exodus: Part 4 · 9:13pm Jun 13th, 2017

This is part 4 out of what I'm officially now deciding is gonna be a 7-part story... we're only about halfway done right now... if even. Jaydove (played by Simon) and the rest of the choir will be singing their song to awaken Moonflower... (played by Lana) nothing else will be revealed until you read the part.

This is our part... I thought to myself. Here goes nothing. I then began to sing a song that was written by me long before this play was even conceived of, with people I didn't even know.

"Stars may fall
And dreams may fade
But throughout them all
We'll continue our crusade
Through the midnight sky
So that you and I
Will be everfree
Searching for our destiny

To normal lives
We say 'farewell'
And the light survives
For as far as I can tell
In the midnight sky
Where the stars all fly
Through the open air
Round and over everywhere

By light of day
Or dark of night
We will find our way
To make everything alright
For the midnight sky
Nevermore shall die
With our lights within
There's no battle we can't win

Tonight
We fly
And unite
Across the midnight
Sky"

And with that... nothing happened, just like it was written in the script. The song wasn't supposed to awaken Moonflower... but, also written in the script, a dark figure became spotted by Dragonheart and Luminelle. But it wasn't just one entity. This was an array of dark beings, who were all identical. These were the clones of Duplicati, played by Jacob Marx, who... surprisingly did a very good job of portraying his character.

"What thousand beasts approacheth us tonight?" Theodore asked, as if he were pretending not to recognise them as clones of Duplicati.

"Thousand?" Duplicati asked Dragonheart. "We are one and the same. And you can spare us the whole 'iambic pentameter' nonsense. This isn't that kind of play. There are no faerie, no happy endings, and no kind of magic, not even the magic of love, can defeat us."

"If thou art such a confident dark mage..." Theodore started to say to Jacob. "Then wherefore art thou hiding in thy ranks?"

"Hiding? In plain sight?" Jacob replied. "No... I am not hiding amongst myself. We are all the same, and the only one who can defeat me... I mean... us... is trapped in a nightmare!"

"O Luminelle, what sayest thou to this?" Theodore asked Lune. "The weakness of the beast hath been revealed."

"If nightmares are what keepeth her asleep..." Lune replied to Theodore. "then one must walk unto her in a dream."

Ah, yes... the Dreamwalking scene. I thought to myself and smiled, which nobody saw because I was offstage. This was my favourite part, because this would be when Dragonheart learns the princess's name: Moonflower. Inside of her dream... but I guess I'll have to wait a little while longer.

And that's it for part 4. I'm thinking the play will end in part 5 and the adventure will begin in part 6. Spoiler alert: Simon meets Eveline after the play ends,
and it turns out that she was in the audience and her favourite part of the play was the song.

YAY! I'm only 3 parts away and I don't wanna use my blog for anything else until it's done.

Okay. I'll look forward to it.

I applaud you. Excellent work
