It's the most wonderful time of the year · 6:15pm Oct 31st, 2018
Also known as Halloween.
Also known as Halloween.
First off, allow me to apologize for a few things. I am sorry that I haven't finished judging the stories for the Mare x Monster contest I did a few months back. While I have been busy both with some personal problems and working at the fair, I should have tried to read the stories in my spare time. I will say I have finished reading one of them and I am starting to read the second story.
I know, I know...
It's still abit early yet.
But regardless! Have a great Halloween this year, if you partake in that sort of thing!
It's that time again, just another status update on whats been going on in my life - for those that are interested and those that like to listen to me in misery, then good for you!
This is my tentative schedule for the upcoming week. All things listed will hopefully be done during the upcoming October 10-16 time frame.
Update : CMC's Versus the Truancy Pony, The Science Fiction Story MLP.
Been a loooong while since I did a movie review, huh?
Well, I finally got off my butt and managed to write one up. And it proved to be a big enough piece of text that I ended up posting it on my DeviantArt account, since I thought it'd be too long to post as a normal blog.
Appropriate, I suppose, given just *who* we're talking about here...
To all those who read the fics and watch the show:
Thanks for making the past decade something special.
Party on!
It's officially October (at least for half of the states).
And you know what that means. It's time to be spooky. I love Halloween, and for the past couple of years I have written Halloween fics.
These have included "Land Of Confusion", "Fear Of The Dark", and "Vicarious". All were really fun to write (which I hope you'd read if you haven't).
What's up, friends, it's the first of the month, so you know what that means: AMA time. Ask me your questions in the comments section below. Also, this bit of writing news:
I'm going on holiday to EGX in London for a week so I wont be working on my fics for a few days. When I come back I'll try to get back into a more regular work and release schedule as I want to keep at these stories until we have an ending.
Especially my Tomb Kings fic as I really want to write that one.
As always, any constructive criticism is appreciated and I will see you all later!
Dear Bronies and Pegasisters,
Being the month of October, I wanted to reach out to anyone who does YouTube readings to post at least one of my darker stories. I have a few untouched stories that any one of you can read from for this month.
Hello, and Happy Nightmare Night! Hopefully you'll all be having a spooky time full of candy and costumes; I know I'll be enjoying it to the fullest, now that I can spend it at home.
Finally, the month of spooks and scares is here for our enjoyment! Not a moment too soon, since I felt this has been a pretty dismal year, for quite a few reasons.
Here's hoping that the autumn atmosphere and anticipation for the 31st will kick my dumbass into proper gear and have me produce something worthwhile. I do have ideas and things set up to be finally fleshed out and written down, but it really comes down to me to, in the words of Shia LaBeouf, "Just do it!" (old memes, lol)
Hi guys!
It's been awhile since I had any activity on my stories. So, I hope you enjoy the new one I've written up here for you all. Many things have happened since my last blog, including the loss of a family member - which was distressing, and rather upsetting. Which held me back from doing anything.
Dear Bronies and Pegasisters,
First off, Happy Halloween/Nightmare Night! Secondly, I’m happy to say that one of my stories, “A Silent Film,” has not only gotten itself a reading, but two. The first below is from a YouTuber called Zachmoviefan.
And secondly, I took part in the second half of the Halloween podcast with the cast of Inverno. That is all.
Nightmare Night will soon be upon us.
Well… kind of. Like another half a month. But, you know… can’t be too prepared.
You all may or may not know, but I’m not a fan of this month and most especially Halloween. Yes, my birthday may be in October. Which in itself should clue you in on how much I don’t like the month of even that doesn’t put a happy spin on it.
That said, I’m no Scrooge on the festivities or the atmosphere. It’s a time to be scary, time to get cozy, time for stories.
So, it's getting closer and closer to Halloween. Two more days left.
I was curious, because it's in tradition of the holiday, are there any people out there that would like to share a ghost story, be it an urban legend in their general area or a personal tale? Regardless, I'd still love to hear a spooky story!
