Movie Review: Godzilla (1954) · 10:05pm Oct 15th, 2019
Been a loooong while since I did a movie review, huh?
Well, I finally got off my butt and managed to write one up. And it proved to be a big enough piece of text that I ended up posting it on my DeviantArt account, since I thought it'd be too long to post as a normal blog.
Appropriate, I suppose, given just *who* we're talking about here...
Anyway, if you guys are curious, you can follow this link here and read up my full thoughts on the original story of a giant radioactive dinosaur levelling Tokyo.
It's really quite the show, I'm very glad to have finally seen it.
DAMN.
Very well done sir, very well done!

Indeed. The original Godzilla pulls no punches whatsoever.
Thanks so much for reading it!

Did you ever get to see King Of The Monsters?

Yes, I saw it back in June. It's coming up real soon on my "to-review" list.

OK, cool.

Yep. This October I'll be doing a set of monster movie reviews. Godzilla 1954, then King of the Monsters (2019), The Host (this 2002 Korean monster movie I saw with my dad earlier)... and if I'm ambitious enough to get it in I might do some others too. A friend mentioned The Creature from the Black Lagoon and that made me remember how much fun I had seeing it the first time.

Why not John Carpenter's The Thing?

I don't have that one. I could ask if my dad has a copy but I don't know if he has one, he's not a big John Carpenter fan. (He likes that movie up until the very end and then he thinks it completely falls apart.)
