Just saw the trailer, and my word. Sombra is back! Never thought I'd see the day!
Hello everybody! How's everyone doing?
Alright, let's jump straight to the good part: The votes for The Nameless Queen have been counted and the results are in!
Let's take a look at what we got;
Nameless: Back to Twilight's library!
Gatherers (unit one): Babysitting!
Gatherers (unit two): Gathering love!
Warriors: Babysitting as well!
In the back-to-back season premiere titled “The Beginning of the End,” Princess Celestia and Princess Luna decide to retire and hand off the ruling of Equestria to Twilight Sparkle and her friends, which sends Twilight into a tailspin of self-doubt.
I... Wha.. How that... So a bunch of random ponies who, in general, know nothing about how to run a country suddenly have all the reins? You know what, Hasbro and writers? F**k you. I don't even care anymore.
Ever since Season 5, I've been writing reviews of each season after it ended. Now that it's the end of the series, I'm going to summarize my opinion of each season leading up to the ninth.
Hello everybody!
The votes for chapter 9 are in and these are the results:
Queen: Helping with the lightning! Sunstrike is going to have a field day
Gatherers 1: They're gonna watch the babies!
Gatherers 2: back to collecting love!
Warriors: Gotta search around Ponyville to make sure everything is okay.
Workers: Covert Network on its way! But remember: Stealth is optional for this mission
With news that the rest of S9 is already out in the Netherlands (in Dutch) and is likely to appear in Australia within the next couple of weeks, I'm changing a few things for a little while. I won't be looking at the front page, feature box or Popular Stories list of this site until I've seen the whole thing myself. I will also read no fics published after yesterday. I have enough stories on my RiL list to keep me going. For everyone else: please be careful out there!
... oh, wait, it's already here. Whoops!
So, just like that, My Little Pony G4 officially ended its animated run. While I know it will still continue in comic form, the show is what I (and likely most of us) enjoyed the most in terms of official products. Okay, so technicality aside, this is very... sad, to say the least. As I watched the final song of the final episode ever, I couldn't hold it; I teared up.
I could make a Phantom of the Opera joke here but there are some depths that even I will not sink to.
As usual, my longer review will be up on Louder Yay (probably on Monday, but possibly on Tuesday), but there's a brief summary after the break.
And a lot of us are sad and/or worried. I'm here to tell you not to be. Why? Well, it's simple; the main show is ending, but we are not.
We fans are what really made this show into the phenomenon, and we are the ones that keep it alive. Our fandom has produced a stream of incredible content and I predict that that isn't ending any time soon. As long as we have stories to tell, in art or music or fiction, let's keep telling them.
We're officially at the halfway point of Season 9, and I'm pleasantly surprised with the quality of episodes so far. I admit, after the lackluster S8, I was prepared not to like this season. Perhaps my lowered expectations helped me enjoy the season more. The weakest episode was "Uprooted," but it wasn't anywhere near as bad as "Non-Compete Clause." "Twilight's Eight" and "Frenemies" were both excellent, and the rest of the episodes have been consistently good. I'm pleased that this series is
From how far I might be going with my comics, I might be making some short stories on the season 9 foreshadowing depending if season 9 of Mlp might be the last. And I have hopes it won't be the last season, and if anyone knows if this is true or not I'm all ears to anyone's opinion.
Never forget the tragedy, but also, never forget the heros, and also, how America was able to come back from this, even though the emotional wounds haven't completely healed.
My mom says that she was tying my shoes for Kindergarten when the news broke.
Bless you guys, I hope your day will be a happy one
And now I have one question. I quote Luna:
Equestria enjoying it's longest period of harmony in years.
