... oh, wait, it's already here. Whoops!
So, just like that, My Little Pony G4 officially ended its animated run. While I know it will still continue in comic form, the show is what I (and likely most of us) enjoyed the most in terms of official products. Okay, so technicality aside, this is very... sad, to say the least. As I watched the final song of the final episode ever, I couldn't hold it; I teared up.
The characters that I learned to care for, the ones I followed through so many episodes, the ponies who helped me realize that it was okay to be who I was.
It introduced me to friends.
It introduced me to fandoms and fanwork.
And more importantly—allegedly—it introduced me to writing.
Thank you so, SO much My Little Pony. For all its highs and lows, I am truly happy to have been part of the experience alongside all of you who happened to read my work and perhaps, still follow me even now! (Quick aside I'm not retiring! I'm still writing just going through that phase of learning).
Well, I don't properly know how to finish this, but... a lot of us will still be here. It's okay to be sad. Just know that many of us will still be here horseing around.
And I hope you stay to horse around as well.
