So I got back from the premiere of the movie.
It didn't disappoint.
It exceeded all expectations where there were none.
Overall it did exactly what it was meant to do. It made me emotional. It made me feel hopelessness.
In the very end.... It made me feel hope.
This was the kind of movie you want to see no matter what. It made me so happy and seeing Mark Hamill, Luke Skywalker on the scene was exactly what I wanted. I am truly happy I went to it.
So, Star Wars has been a topic of some contention in recent years, and for obvious reasons. The Last Jedi being what it was, polarization in the fandom has reached all time highs, and it's hard for a Legends junky like myself to really be optimistic about the future of the canon EU. There's a couple reasons for that, but I'll come back to them in another blog.
So, last year in March, I wrote that I was okay with seeing characters that I don’t sympathize with get redeemed. I was mainly talking about Starlight Glimmer, but in the process of giving my reasons for supporting the redemption of unsympathetic characters, I ended up comparing her to Kylo Ren from the newer Star Wars trilogy movies. You see, I had written that if Kylo didn’t get redeemed, then his father would have died for nothing.
Today is Star Wars Day. So May the 4th be with you. 
New concept for my new character Ria! So far, I have no last name for her but she is an Arkanian and I wanted to try out some colour schemes for her. I'm leaning toward the first one (probably because it was the first one I did) and I made 8. for the hell of it! Cos why not?
Yup, finally saw Episode VIII. And for the most part, I liked it. There are just a few niggling bits that frustrate me.
Spoilers ahead for anyone who's managed to be slower than me.
Well, today was the first day of writing my new chapter!
And there is good news! 
And some bad news... 
The good news is the chapter is 20% done! 
The bad news is i'm sick... 
Good news is so far it has not impacted my schedule, and me being at home gives me a bit more time to write, so hopefully, friday evening, it will be released as planned. 
Worst Pawdawn Ever. And by worst I mean best. (sauce)
Grape Vine: Okay, so, to end the week we know we'll have to go really all out. So, what better way than to tell an epic tale of adventure, loss, and love all in just five minutes? Five minutes you say? It cannot be done you say? WELL! I shall prove you wrong! And I shall do it with the help of a fellow musician! Ladies and gentlestallions, introducing... the one, the only, CHEEEEESSSSE SANDWICCCHHH!
At times you find yourself looking back.
In my case, I took my time and looked back at my past work. My second big project was Fallen Knight, as Night Wonder did come first, but I had too many issues with it. Looking back on it, I'm still really happy with it, buuuut, I also cringe at some of my choices. 
And with that title, I already feel the eyes of the internet upon me. Which is kind of the point. I wouldn’t be posting this otherwise.
So, this is a distinctly disorganized collection of thoughts on Party Ponies and their inner nature.

So first off, again thank you all so much for the support you've shown for this story! I am still amazed how much people are enjoying it and I promise to work my hardest to have the story live up to your expectations.
So a couple of things, Chapter 3 will probably be released sometime within the middle of the week and like I said at the end of my authors note, it will Follow Darth Vader as he goes to check out a disturbance on a colony world in the outer rim.
I don't know if these spoilers about Star Wars Episode 8: The Last Jedi are true or not, but they are horrible. Watch them at your own risk. But if they are true and you still applaud for this movie, this is what people like me will say "Is this how the entertainment industry dies, with thunderous applause?"
