Wow, we're getting a lot of news these past two days. First the announcement of a standalone CGI MLP movie in 2021 and now this.
Sadly, yes. The show will officially end with Season 9.
Once again, I am remiss. I haven't been keeping up with new episodes and/or leaks, so ... yeah. Part of it is 'cause I've been fairly busy, and part of it's 'cause I'm subconsciously hoarding random pony eps to randomly watch on Netflix so they'll at least be New-To-Me. Like, I'm pretty sure there's a handful of random episodes from seasons 7 & 8 I still haven't touched yet.
BUT.
Why does it feel like it was only yesterday, when it was actually 7 or 8 years ago, when I first joined the herd?
Saturday night, and I'm on the internet talking about the last episode of a magic pony cartoon.
Seems legit.
In my defense, I gotta work early tomorrow morning, so it's not like I can really go out and party and whatever. SO HERE WE ARE.
So, I just saw the 2nd trailer to the 9th season of FiM today, and...*sniffles*...you’re literally not gonna believe what I saw.
Take a look:
Wanna know my reaction?
*sniffles*
😢😭😭😭😭😭😭
I’m sorry. I’m sorry, just, feeling really emotional now. It was beautiful. And so heart-tugging.
Since I already watched the series finale the other night (and was spoiled on a couple details prior to that), I already have a plan in mind for a Teen-Rated story that involves Discord after the events of Episodes 24 & 25. The oneshot will be published sometime in the next few days, and is currently In-Progress to read on my Official Patreon Page. I have about 1,000 words written so far, but I intend on writing out a lot more tonight:
Just a small update for everyone regarding my new MLP series.
For convenience's sake, i'm keeping around the older version of the mini-story. However, as of this moment, I am working on writing a new version to better coincide with the Season 9 Redux. Nothing major, really.
This episode was definitely something else. What that something else is... I'll discuss below. Because mild spoilers and such.
You get the drill.
It's so strange of me to read that blog title back, seeing how I never skip an episode of MLP in case I miss out on a good lesson or comedy. Yes, even Starlight Glimmer episodes (tempted as I've been).
But the moment I read the premise for She's All Yak:
I'd never been more disinterested.
So "Big Jim" Miller has had to lock his social media because apparently he's been getting death threats. Why? Because the Netherlands just decided to air the remainder of Season 9 early. Aside from the fact that the rest of us should be hypervigilant about spoilers, we ought to support the man who directed so many of our most beloved episodes. Check out this link here on Equestria Daily to learn a
Hello, guys! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas weekend! I can’t believe the year is almost over with 2021 just right around the corner. I just hope that the new year will become the year of slow but steady restoration. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼!
Cozy Glow was just plain evil. A lot of people craved a back story, or a shot at redemption for her, but personally, I think she got oodles of character development just in the behavior that we were permitted to witness.
Grading Scale:
A (fantastic episode)
A- (an excellent episode with at least one flaw)
B+ (a great episode with a couple of flaws)
B (a good episode which still could have been better)
If you don't say goodbye, it's like they're not really gone. They're just not here right now.
(I know that I'm late to the party but I'm still going to speak my mind on it.)
Bronies, Pegasisters, Writers, and Artists, lend me your ears!
This quote in the title, which had been said in Doctor Who in the last episode of 10th Doctor run, was what first came to my mind after watching the last episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Obviously, partially because the show ended with a song, but mostly because I believe that it sums up pretty much how most of us here feel about Generation 4.
