[One-Shot] Fluttershy, reborn as a denizen of the dark and desperate for a drink, goes on the prowl in the dead of night. What ensues is less horrifying and more hilarious.
Ever since the events of the "Vampire Fruit Bat Incident" at Sweet Apple Acres, Fluttershy's been having strange dreams, and its keeping her up at night. She goes to see her friend Twilight for help, but not all is as it first appears.
A dying Applejack is kept company by Twilight, but they receive a visitor who offers them an alternative they had yet to consider... (Now with audio adaptation!)
It's time for Discord's weekly visit to Fluttershy's a day after the events of the episode "Bats!". So unknown to everypony, Fluttershy will forcibly transform into FlutterBat every night.
"Fluttershy...you now hold inside of you a seed of darkness. Whether or not that seed sprouts into a guiding salvation, or a harbinger of destruction, is wholly up to you."
Fluttershy thought all this vampire pony nonsense was over but she was sadly mistaken. Confining herself to her cottage, Fluttershy refuses to see anypony but her beloved bunny, Angel, out of fear of rejection.
Everyone knows that Twilight's spells have a 56% reliability rate, so it's no surprise when her spell reversing Fluttershy's bat transformation goes wrong. What she discovers in the aftermath, however, is a little more...unexpected.
Despite being cured of her feral instincts, Fluttershy keeps periodically transforming back into a bat-pony hybrid. She's fine with it. If only Twilight were willing to let go of her increasingly hare-brained 'remedies', too...
Since the vampire bat incident, Sweet Apple Acres has been plagued by a thief who steals apples, but strangely leaves money for them. Determined to find out who - or what - the thief is, Applejack makes a surprising discovery...
Luna is invited to visit Sweet Apple Acres by Big McIntosh. As they tour the newly created bat sanctuary, the subject of a mysterious new animal visiting the orchard comes up. Luna decides she would like to see the creature for herself.
