Following the events of "Secrets of my Excess" Rarity joins Twilight Sparkle and the Royal Sisters for brunch, hoping to gain advice on dealing with a certain young dragon and the feelings she keeps hidden.

During a day at the fair Spike wins a prize at a carnival game! As he enjoys all that the fair offers his mind continues to return to the token...and what a fair marking the turning point between summer and autumn means for him and the ponies he loves.

Sidenote: I appreciate the criticism I received prior to writing this from the people who said that it "couldn't be done", and that "Rarity and Spike being together just won't work out". If it weren't for you guys, I would never had been inspired to prove you wrong by creating this. Thanks! :D
