This story is a sequel to The Great Brony Migration

It's been nearly a year since the portal opened up and Equestria found a couple thousand new friends, who are finally settling into their new home. Unfortunately, for two of them, things have gotten a lot more complicated.
For two unconnected misunderstandings, (at least, that's what they'll claim) two Bronies are banished from Canterlot and find themselves in the heart of Equestrian innovation, luxury, and style: Manehattan. Seizing a coincidence and an opportunity to pose as Private Investigators, they embark on a new adventure. Of course, with their luck, they fall deeper and deeper into a conspiracy that has the city in its grip. They'll need all the help they can get, because even their fabulous headwear won't be able to save them from what's coming.

Twilight Sparkle prides herself on following and sticking to her plans, but she isn't as organized as everypony thinks. It is the summer of 2020. The popular TV show "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" has finished its eighth, and what appears to be final, season. In the wake of increasingly violent attacks by an extremist Internet-based terrorist group, the founders of the popular pony site, Equestria Daily, decide enough is enough. Bronies from all over the world have gathered in a small, abandoned industrial park in the run-down outskirts of Chicago to find the culmination of their dreams: Equestria. Through the wonders of science, they flee Earth for a land of magic, mystery and secrets. They will be weighed, they will be measured... will they be found wanting or will their dreams come true?

Local Ponyville folklore says that the mysterious colt that just moved into town hides a mysterious secret. Some say he's a government spy, plotting to take over Equestria. Others think he's just a shy stallion who has trouble talking to others. When Derpy Hooves, the resident mailmare, delivers a letter to the reclusive pony, what she finds is not at all what anypony had expected--least of all herself.

Discord waits alone and forgotten in the Canterlot gardens, brooding over his hatred for the princess and wondering who truly was the monster between them. But an unlikely visit one night changes him and his feelings for Celestia...

Sequel to Love and Hatred. Discord has broken free of his stone prison and is now engaged to Celestia. But can the others adjust to their awkward relationship, or will Luna and Twilight see to it that it fails?
