Lyra Heartstrings is a brilliant spell-caster and spell-crafter, and remains one of Princess Celestia's first choices for research into complicated magics. Will she be able to study her latest assignment objectively?

The reasearch topic is humans, and Lyra is determined to experience them first-hoofhand. The only problem is she has no idea how to human.

Contains: Transformation, of course. Pony turning into a timberwolf and into a human. There is nudity (about as much as the show ever gave us) but it is not the focus of things in and of itself.

This story was (originally) written for the Autumn Pony to Human TF Contest (and won second place), but has received the extra attention the limits of that contest (word count) wouldn't allow me.

Nothing can stay the same forever. Scootaloo always knew that her days with her perfect little friendships in Ponyville was numbered. Scooters break, friends move away, but some injuries run too deep to fix. No number of stretches, no mystery cures, nothing can give her the flight that other pegasai take for granted.

Then comes Nightmare Night, and some dangerous advice. There's somewhere Scootaloo can go, somewhere where any flaw can be overcome. Assuming she's willing to pay the price.

At this point, Scootaloo will give up anything.

After being ejected from Canterlot, Chrysalis decides to risk expending some of her changelings in search of greener pastures, in order to hasten their recovery and try to conquer Equestria again. One of those changelings finds that, and more.

Something I wrote for that Autumn pony-to-human contest.

For years, Double Take has been the most-wanted criminal in Equestria. No other thief has taken as much fine art and jewellery as him. On top of that, his contacts on the other side of The Gate, in the human world, have made it worth his while to smuggle gold across the interdimensional border.

So when it comes time to escape the heat, there's no better place to escape to... right?
