Top 500 and I'm Speechless · 2:19am Feb 10th, 2018
So, a couple months, I posted a blog here that Blonde Moments had entered the top 1000 ranked stories on the site. That was a huge deal for me. And now, I've got even bigger news to share with you all.
Blonde Moments has made it into the Top 500 stories on the site.
This means a lot to me. I've always paved my own way on this site. I chose to write a lot about a character that a lot of people don't like. I get it. I chose to write really lively, dialogue-based stories where the characters tell the story for me. Not everyone likes that kind of approach. That's cool.
Suffice it to say, I've always had a bit of an issue seeing myself as a "good" writer. A writer that has stories that appeal to a lot of people. I've had my niche and that was great, but having something that was actually seen as "really good" by readers always seemed to escape me. However, that's changed with Blonde Moments.
It's my highest rated and definitely most praised story by far. People who don't even like Spike enjoy this one. And for the first time on this site, I feel like I'm writing something "really good". It's not great, it's not amazing, it's not a masterpiece and it probably won't go down in the archives as a monumental story. But it's something people really enjoy, and that makes me happy.
So, I gotta give a lot of thanks to all of you guys that have helped me write over the years, helped me get better with every story and of course, those of you reading Blonde Moments and enjoy it. I couldn't do it without you guys.

You deserve it man. I'm excited to see what's next for you. Though I have to say, I didn't think there was a whole lot of people who hate Spike. I have seen some but I always thought there were FAR more people who like him.

I've legit had people message me and tell me to kill myself for writing Spike.
He does have a good-sized fanbase, no doubt, but there are a lot of people who really don't like him.
Congrats, dude! I love reading Spike as much as I like writing him (albeit he's a bit older in my case—a bit), so I'm thrilled to see your story getting this well-earned recognition.
