Okie doki Froakie.
So, I've started my next chapter of 'Dragon King' but have hit a teensy snag.
I'm toying with the idea of a crossover. ONE. Singular. Plural. Uno.
Dear gods, i can hear the cringing already.
I KNOW this one of the reasons many Displaced fics are Disliked.

Aaaanyway. My goal with this fic, is to create a story that Displaced haters might actually like. I want readers to see beyond the title, to not judge a book by it's cover. You remember that episode right? The one with Best Zebra. (Yes she's the only zebra. Don't get sassy with me)
But yes, it's an idea I'm toying with.
So here's the question. The main problem I'm facing.
WHICH FIC SHOULD I CROSS WITH!?
At the very least, my ending won't change, and the next chapter will just mention the thing that will happen. The outcome will be the same, the cross will merely provide an extra chapter. Now, I do have some stipulations. It needs to be a world where Bahamut isn't completely outclassed or too overpowered. he needs a challenge, but not an impossible one.
Second? And here's the kicker.
It DOESN'T have to be a Displaced fic.
Yup, you heard me. The general rule of the Multiverse is that ALL worlds exist in some form or another yeah? I dunno. Again, really tired right now. I even toyed with crossing with one of my own fics, but none of them would really work well. I AM tempted to ask to cross with a story called 'The Bridge' I've been reading that lately and it's super cool.
So yeah, Ideas, recommendations and offers are welcome!

Edit: And before you say it, it isn't the world that's overpowered... just Gilgy, and if Bahamut were to regain his true form, he may very well be the second strongest individual in that world.

That's a bit of a difficult one. There aren't that many non-Displaced crossovers that would be adequately overpowered enough to keep up. Bahamut is pretty high up there even by Displaced standards. Doesn't leave all that much to choose from.
I was actually gonna suggest Tarbtano The Bridge story, but you mentioned it at the end, so.
The only other one I know who might fit would be Flammenwerfer Equis story.

Edit: Wasn't one of the reasons Celestia won't let him have his full power back the fact that it would also release Discord? Because in one of his crossovers Discord used images from the world of one of Gilgamesh's friends (*cough*Nemesis*cough*) to manipulate that world's Displaced into becoming his murderous lapdog. This fact seriously pissed Gilgy off, prompting him to beat the draconequus into little more than a stain on the ground reminiscent of an abstract painting. ...OK, he didn't exactly go that far, but he was basically reduced to nothing but a pile of bruises and broken bones in a shape vaguely reminiscent of a draconequus before being turned back into a statue.
That may be tricky, but I think Gilgamesh may work. If not, I can always help
Or you could, you know, not do a crossover, those get so convoluting at times that it straight up ruins the story and not many people pull it off very well and I would hate to see this story take a blunt force trauma to the head because of it.
I think the main issus people have with the cross over me inclide tho its more of a little anyoing at time not enoight to dislike is how it kind of forces you to read another story that does the same thing so i want to read story a but story b become a big part of it so know i need to read b and b makes me read c but i dislike c
I recommend Gilgamesh and Anubis Doggy Cruger. Who wouldn't like the Dragon God on a ranger team as an ally? And having Bahamut one call away means Emperor Grumm and any Sentai villains like the Zangyack are screwed seeing how a transuniversal war criminal or whatever is on the loose causing problems in different Equestrias after basically selling Equestria itself out into slavery to the Zangyack.
To be fair, the whole reason it is Displaced thing is because of crossovers. That's really the thing that makes a Displaced story.
As a potential crossover i'm suggests Rise of the Angel of Death [Added later :After thinking about that, the transfer of the airship seems to be better than sending Bahmuta (and his team) alone to their dimension. More interaction between characters but it is the author's choice ]. It is not exactly displaced story (the main character became malthael but has no token. {they even made joke about making them [token]}.History is currently on hiatus and at this point, the heroes set out on the expedition in airship to Zebrica. I think this is the perfect time to transfer them to another dimension with the entire ship (magical storm or something) and all on board.This includes the Maltaela and his harem (Sunset Shimmer, Trixie Lulamoon, Nightmare Moon, Chrysalis, Solar Flare, and Sonata [her sisters are also not in relationship with him]), Twilight (as alicorn) ,perhaps Elements, Gilda (the youngest child of the rulers of the empire of griffins), Zecora and crew ( four races: dwarves, goblins, elves-orcs,draconians).
That allows on very interesting interactions between characters.Mathaela dimension is more or less canonical, at least at the beginning of the fourth season.Also Discord is his friend so the Celestia reaction (and Luna to Nightmare Moon and her relationship with Discord
).Not to mention a reaction filly Sunset and Twi on their adult versions (which are alicorn{Sunset is alicorn with the blood of demons, from her mother's side}).Seriously that list could go on and on and on ( Canon Twi and rebellious Cadence )
So many opportunities for beautiful chaos and melting of characters brains.
In my opinion, these stories much more match (due to efforts to displaced by less visible).
So I truly hope for a crossover between those two stories.

That says more about how overpowered the average Displaced character is, I think. Most regular crossover characters center more on the characters than their powers and aren't quite on the level of being able to compete with massively huge dragons that can rearrange landscapes. I can only really think of one right now that might compete there, and that one isn't really a great fit for other reasons.

Size wise, Bahamut at full size is only a few meters tall. And his Mega Flare could maybe wipe out a city block. Nowhere near rearranging landscapes.

The one Displaced you've already crossed with goes well beyond 'demigodhood'. Personally, I had noticed that you were keeping Bahamut in check and focusing more on how he's empowering the girls there, which is great. When I first started reading this, I didn't realize that it was one of the 'Displaced' fics, and the fact that you haven't gone entirely overpowered makes it far better than the few others that I've read so far.
If you do want to do another crossover but not necessarily with another Displaced, you might contact Arad about Mente Materia as Bahamut certainly would not outclass everything there. Instead he would be about on par with an outfitted team. (I'm an X-Com junkie. Love Arad's work with it there.) As an added bonus, there are a couple easy candidates for how they would arrive, since a Kaleidescope teleporter malfunction could be the cause of them showing up where they didn't intend, and they won't 'shoot first and ask questions later' with a dragon and are likely to have some other peoples of Equis/Equus with them, whether ponies or griffins or minotaurs.

I ponder the idea of you doing a Pokémon crossover with The Bridge, just for fun. Imagine that, Flare fighting Rodan, or Seth interacting with Junior
