I wasn't going to announce this, I was just going to let it happen and surprise you all. Especially since the plans for this kind of petered out back when I first decided to do it because I got too distracted by other things.
Sunset Shimmer is FedUp! was born of personal frustration with a real-life annoyance.
Well...we all know there are plenty of those to go around. And venting frustration at them in an over-the-top comedic fashion, using Sunset Shimmer as an author insert, is very cathartic, both for me and for the readers--as evidenced by the comments section on FedUp.
Yes, there are a LOT of things out there to be annoyed by. Some of them are minor annoyances. Some are major nuisances.
I think we all know what the single biggest emerging public nuisance right now is. And it's inspiring me to dust off the long-suspended, unannounced sequel:
Expect the first chapter, Sunset Shimmer Vs. Pokemon GO!, sometime before Sunday.
(And yes, Persona EG will update eventually, I'm just kind of having trouble getting into the mindset to write the next chapter.)
I'll be waiting for it eagerly.

Oh dear god I can't wait for that. I just downloaded the game today and you know where the first Poke'mon was? In the middle of a freeking highway. Maybe this whole thing is some sort of decades-long WW2 plot to kill Americans using their own stupidity?

I just keep thinking about them since Ghostbusters Rebooted it coming out tomorrow. I don't hate the movie itself but the controversy stirred up by the people and Sony. But at this point I'm tired of thinking and talking about it myself and hopefully after this weekend I can completely forget about it.
