Greetings, my fellow FimFicians. With the year coming to a close, I'm sure many of you are curious of how our mission is coming along. It has been a rough journey, with many oppositions against my campaign, but fret not! The last year I've spent speaking to you all, fighting for what is right and the many needed changes I can bring to FimFic.
For starters, the much needed restructuring of the Feature Box. We've all known of it's problems, clop and shameless Human in Equestria stories always at the top, written by authors with follower counts so large it dwarfs us common user. Well no more! We shall take the box, shove it into another box, and have a fresher new box that wasn't used for shipping bananas or peaches. Now all that will matter are the fics that matter to YOU! Instead of a constant battle for the top position, the box will simply have all the fics in it, at the same time! And don't worry about any position in the box, for everyone's fics will be merged into one mega fic so that everyone has the same recognition as everyone else.
Next up in my political agenda is the obvious issues with trolls and trolling. Well rest assured. Under my campaign I promise to burn any bridges to any other websites that harbor those nasty little bastards. Equestria Daily? Gone. Derpibooru? See ya! No longer will we tolerate or love those who foster the vileness that is hate and unlove. We will no longer trade information or goods and services. We can self sustain without them! We'll dig our own oil, and drill our own graves! Pick our own apples and sell them to each other so that our economy stays in a constant cycle of normality.
To counter, instead we will focus more on relations between places where they don't allow the idiocy of trolls and call them out on it instead. Places like 4chan, MLP forums, and Horse News will become our strongest allies. With their knowledge and aid, we will become a stronger website, and no longer have to tolerate the vile trolls. Who needs bridges when we can just wade through the stream?
And finally, the last major debate we've battled through has been the dreaded moderators themselves. With me in there helping shape up the place and kick some metaphorical ass, I can promise you that we will no longer go after those whom have valid claims of harassment and abuse. We will seek those out whom harm others with fancy words and logical thinking and shove them into time out, where they will learn the real way to debate with one another: By agreeing to everything everyone says and not fretting over such little things like grammar, or plot, or even that silly thing called continuity. Lest of all we forget plagiarism. That word was made up so that smart, intelligent people like you and me couldn't show other people how intelligent the people we were plagiarizing really were, by showing their smartness in our own works to show that we were smart for using their smarts.
And so what if two people have similar fics? Sure, just the characters might be different and a few words here and there might be off, but what's that to anyone? We are a community about sharing, and sharing is caring. So don't be mad when someone shares your fic by using it for their own fic. We want everyone- Oh, forgive me, everypony to feel equal and loved in all the same ways. It's not like we're passing around a STD or anything. We're just passing around each other's love and tolerance. By copying and claiming as our own. Dogs do that too, you know. Only with more pee, but if you want to pee on someone else's story then that's fine too because YOU GOTTA SHARE, YOU GOTTA CARE! IT'S THE RIGHT THING TO DO!
