Hmm-hmm. Well, time to get drunk and binge-write a birthday fic, seeing how I've already had the party.
Now, I have two ideas for a fic. Which one should I write?
I mean, this one is kind of a tradition. It would be my second year in a row posting something Night Light - related as my birthday. Character's popular.
On the other hand, I've got tons of comments saying my shit is random. Also subpar. But mostly random. Maybe I could post something that I actually think it's random, if only to see if the stuff I write is really that weird or if we're all overreacting a little.

"Because apparently an Aragon turned a magical number today, and I have no idea what significance this has."

"Don't be ridiculous Spike. Look, this book heralded that Alicorns were actually pony-shaped starfish. I can't afford to ignore it again, no matter how ridiculous."

"You didn't question the new acid pit?"
"Rarity told me that's just how unicorns stay looking young and fresh?"
"So that's her secret! I'll- never mind. Look, I've been dropping spare legs in there--"
"WHAT?"
"--for the better part of a month now. This book told me about Pinkicking, bank heists, the my Dad's disastrous attempts to fix everything... Why- Oh! Oh, Aragon appears to be the author. Why is he predicting his own birthday? That's... weird."
"Well. I mean, he'd know, right?"
"No. No, see, because -- "On this day, the day this declaration is read aloud by Twilight Sparkle the Princess of Magic and/or Friendship, Who Gives a Flying Feather, Julio of Aragon will turn 21. And some chucklefuck will tell him happy birthday through the warping of said Alicorn and her Lowly Assistant as a framing device."
"Lowly assistant? Hey!"
"Framing device for what, I wonder? If this book is to be believed... Oh, no."
And with that, Twilight saw the edges of her own reality. She looked right through the fourth wall at you, Seeing you for the first time.
"You... you did this? By writing this, you made these things happen to me and my friends? Why? Why would you do such awful, terrible things? Was it funny to you? Was it all just... just a big joke?"

"Come on, Spike. Step away from the fourth wall. I need to go see if they make water hot enough to scrub away an existential crisis. It turns out our reality has been rewritten by the whims of some moronic deity who... gets his kicks out of bad puns, I guess."
