Well, dear readers, I've reached a smidgen of a snag when it comes to Fireflies. Not anything too dramatic, it's still going to be written, and things of that nature. So, don't worry about me abandoning it, or something like that. I'm not that much of a tosser... Most of the time.

The fact of the matter is, I don't know quite what I want to have happen, aside from a single (Incredibly important) scene, in the next chapter. And, really there's no necessity for that scene to be in this next chapter, but it must happen before the end of the story. That being said, we come to the matter of import, and the real reason for this blog. A chance for you to have your voices... Words read! This is a two parter, so bear with me.
First: Please cast a vote for an activity you'd like to see done during the chapter.
A) Make a suggestion, since I don't really have much of an idea. Yet.
Second: Since we all know what the next chapter leads into, let's not play games. Which girl(s) will Icarus spend the next night romancing. I am already aware of the bias in the poll, but it's a bit intentional. Gotta work on fixing that shit that's wrong with Dash, broskis.
A) Dash
B) Dash and Twi
C) Dash and Rarity
D) Dash and Pinkie
E) Dash, Rarity, Pinkie, and Twi (I'd rather a threesome or a foursome BEFORE a fivesome, but if this wins, it wins...)

I still have not read this, but I think that everyone should get together and have a gay ol' time eating sandwiches before engaging in "a foursome BEFORE a fivesome", just to make things spicy between the characters.
Or, in a bit of a dramatic twist, it could turn out that this Icarus guy was actually birthed from a chip of a tooth that had been knocked out of the Almighty Holy Velociraptor's head during a intergalactic laser light show battle with the Wise and All-knowing Squid-Head, which, by the way, was over the fate of the Magic Eight-Ball Quadrant of Deep, Deep Space. I think this would also be the perfect time to introduce such a thing, as it would perfectly explain how he does what he do, as well as how he can control not only the wills of others but the temperature of food; you'd still have to figure out a way to factor in the fact that he can only do all of this if his ass is heated to an uncomfortably warm ninety-six degrees though. However, with our powers combined, I'm sure we could work something out that'll be pretty wizard, if you know what I'm saying. *wink wink nod nod
Can I add an option 'F'? If they are making a herd, then the girls will have to be willing to share him at the same time, which could mean doing things with each other.
So, my option 'F' is thus; Either two of them, three of them, or all four tie Icarus to a chair and put on a show.
If two, I say either Dash and Pinkie or Rarity and Twilight.
If that isn't an option, then (D) Dash and Pinkie.
I would say Dash only, and preferably something that isn't just sex, but actually a bit romantic. Something that has meaning, so to speak.
A) Dash only, more romancing than sex, make it meaningful and have them work towards fixing what they have. If you want to throw in Twi cause that would be awesome, but hey you are the writer and you are doing amazing!
I'm with A). Dash only, primarily romance, though one of the other girls would likely help smooth things out initially (as they'd likely still be rough goings initially due to misunderstandings).
And you could always go with a tussle between Dash and Icarus due to a misunderstanding that ends with Icarus helping Dash preen due to her wings getting messed up from the tussle, serving as a catalyst for them to accept each other more.
Option A, Dash only, if you make it romantic. They sort things out at last and such...
If no romantic, then Option B, Dash and Twi. Rarity and Pinkie had him for the most part, so Twi and Dash are the next.
Generally speaking; If I can't have AppleDash, I'll happy accept TwiDash

For A, I vote - since they know about his sketches now - one or more of the girls suggest they actually pose for his drawings, so we have an art themed day.
For B, I vote Dash and Twi. Not just because TwiDash is one of my fave ships. Because if it is just Dash, she'll either panic again, bail out, or try to hide what's wrong, so she needs someone else there to support her emotionally and help her open up. Normally I'd suggest AJ for that, but she's not joining the herd (
), Rarity is the one Dash identifies with the least (so Dash won't listen to her), and Pinkie is a little too energetic and forceful. So Twilight is the best choice for helping Dash to calm down and open up so the connection between her and Icarus can be repaired and strengthened.
Also, assuming there's a sex scene, I think it should at least start with Icarus and Twilight focused on Dash.
TwiDash. Or solo Dash, they got off to a rocky start.
I personally like the idea of B since maybe we could see Rarity helping Dash out with the whole romance thing but hey what do I know.
Dash and Rarity just to see how they play off each other.
Twidash or solo Dash.
B! Twidash is just so hot! I personally think that given the circumstances surrounding the feelings between Dash and Icarus, Twilight would be the most suitable one to help mediate things between the two. Pinkie is too hyper and Rarity and Dash don't see eye to eye on anything.
I vote Dash and Pinkie, and as for an activity I suggest Snorkling or scuba diving. Why? It's a must do activity for a tropical island.

Woah, I'm not sure if it's too late for this, but I'll give it a shot. I Think Dash and Rarity are a better choice. Since Rarity has more experience in relationships, she could be a good mediator between Icarus and Dashie to rekindle their relationship
