Okay, well why the hell isn't Spike in this story? I honestly rage at fanfics where the mane six have an awesome vacation and have a lot of sexy fun with each other while Spike f***ing misses out on everything. I though that after the Crystal Empire itself that the fandom would never produce this kind of Spike neglect ever again, let alone get featured.
Yeah, all except the one who risked his life to deliver the Crystal Heart. Perhaps instead of saying Spike isn't present in this story, make it clear that Spike does not exist in this fanon universe. Because there's really no excuse to leave him out of this unless he's being heavily rewarded in some other way (which isn't mentioned as far as I can see.).
Off to a very good start, I like it a lot. Just one problem: you have the story tagged as humanized and you are still using very obvious pony references.
Think there's one or two more in there. Nothing too detrimental, it's just a bit confusing if all the characters are supposed to be human.
Oh...oh my. What a delightful premise. What a marvelous first glimpse. Faved, upvoting, and tracking. Ain't even mad that they're all humans. Would be nice if that had an explanation but whatever. And promises of smexy times to boot? Ladies and gentlemen, I think we have a winner.
Icarus? Like from the legend of Icarus and Daedalus? It fits, he lost his wings through his own mistake. A mistake which cost him and his father a great deal, and definitely would have left him recovering for a few months.
I can see this story will be very interesting, and very well written. I am looking forward to seeing where it goes.

1934048 I couldn't help but notice your icon is the druid from the Fire Emblem GBA games. Take another look at the cover art. They could all be Fire Emblem: Awakening characters. An odd idea that popped into my head, I know. I think Fluttershy just reminds me so much of all the soft-hearted kind women in Fire Emblem based on appearance, not to mention virtually being a Laguz.
