Shinedown T. Mare is a hardworking peacekeeper for New York, waiting for his sister to arrive for a family weekend of sorts his boss has set up. But when his sister Trixie's performance in a park gets a harsh and cruel review, Shinedown goes straight into big brother mode, determined to make things right...but to add to the intrigue, the critic who scorched his sister in a review is the most likely suspect in a recent murder. Is Shinedown on to something...or is he letting his overprotective desire to help his sister cloud his judgment?

And Big Mac can't wait for his sister and their friends to help bring good old-fashioned Nightmare Night fun to the little ones.

This is my Halloween request that Magic-Man asked me to do, and I decided to place it within Equestria. Needless to say, I'm REALLY having fun writing these kind of Halloween stories, and this was no exception. I'm not really trying to make too much of a point with this one, save that above all else, holidays should just be about good, clean fun, REGARDLESS of what traditions you follow or what faith you believe in. And for Pete's sakes...think of the kitties next Halloween. Please think of the kitties.
