You've done it. You've achieved your dream. You're now in the magical land of Equestria. You don't know how, you don't know why, but you don't care. You're happy now. And that's all that matters.

Except, everything is wrong. The trees of the Everfree stand petrified and old. The vibrant sky of blue hangs grey with decay. The land lays jagged and cracked, with stone pillars of earth towering beyond the heavens. Monsters both ghastly and unfamiliar roam unchecked. And no matter how much you search, not a single living pony remains.

What happened to this land to turn it into such a hollowed shell?

A story with a minimalistic plot, leaving most to the reader to put the pieces of details and lore together.

Rainbow Dash is tired after the competition at Rainbow Falls, and decides to take a nap.

Ditzy Doo is left temporarily jobless after her vouch to become RD's replacement leads to the Cloudsdale Mail Service to become flooded with fan-mail.

What do these two events have in common? Motor boating, of course!

On the day in which Equestria would have been blessed with a new Princess, Twilight Sparkle, the only mare who had ever offered me sincere kindness, vanished without a trace, taking with her the Element of Magic. As a result, the Elements are left incomplete, leaving Equestria vulnerable to the outside terrors once again.

Running on legends of a "Tree of Life" that can replace the Tree of Harmony's fruits, I, a mare lost in a sea of cacophony and loneliness, take it upon myself to journey into the unknown and save my homeland like the heroes of old. And in doing so, maybe wonder no longer what friendship could really be in a world that has rejected me for my sins.

Shinji thought his life couldn't get any worse. Getting beat up at school, being alone all his life with no one to call a friend, and saving the world without any acknowledgment or appreciation were just a few of the things that made Shinji regret coming to Tokyo-3. A lavender unicorn with a tiara falling on him while he was taking a bath didn't exactly help his ego either.

An MLP/Neon Genesis Evangelion story.

If you haven't watched Evangelion before, I suggest that you don't. It keeps the story as a new experience like I intended of it. Currently rebuilding, probably a better idea to check this out later when the next chapter pops up.
