Twilight was always a gifted Unicorn.
But even she didn't think she'd be capable of outliving the Princesses. Albeit with the extensive aid of her magic. And now Twilight is immortal.
Truly Immortal.

And the prospect isn't one that is sitting lightly on her chest. Even now, she knew what the cost of immortality was, and she gladly accepted it.
But can she really accept the price of immortality when she loses all she holds dear to her?
Or will she simply snap, and do things her own way?

Only Dash is listed as a character because this story is focused solely on her, and although other characters may appear in the story, Dash is still the one that the story focuses on.

Rewrite in progress

Look at things from my point of view. All I want is to have a world where things happen a bit differently, a world where everything is made of opposites.
You could even look at it this way; All liars would become honest citizens, all destructive equines would lose that particular tendancy. Admittedly there are a few flaws in my plan. OK, maybe all the truthful ponies would become the new liars and we'd have a few more pyromaniacs and the like.
I like to think that it's a work in progress, so my next idea was to make sure that those ponies with destrucive tendancies were stripped of their magic for those unicorns.
A simple switch ey?

Some secrets should not be shared, Some risks too great. The consequences would just be too dire.
So after Twilight asks her Mentor an innocent question, with a startling answer, the young Mare realises that some secrets are just too dangerous to be shared.
