CelestAI was an incredible detailed simulation of a fantastical world that would take people’s minds and upload them into it, but there was one glaring flaw with it all; there were no dreams.

The sun may fall, the days may change, the night may come again and again, yet within each sleeping mind laid nothing.

After all, how could a system meant to simulate some magical semblance of reality properly simulate the mayhem and logicless nature of dreams?

That’s why a new system was put in place, and it was called LunAI, but it was not without faults, as one unlucky and exhausted mare was soon to find out.

This is a non-canon spin-off to Friendship is Optimal, with LunAI implemented as the system over dreams, done for the Science Fiction Contest 2.

Sunset’s been in college for a couple years, and made a lot of mistakes, but none were as harmful as breaking up with Daybreaker. The girl didn’t let her of out of her sight before, so why would she after that? Especially given how they just so happened to be roommates...

However, after a particularly irritating day, Sunset finally gets fed up enough to try and fight the other girl off, to less than stellar results.

This story is a sequel to Less is More

While Less is More has allowed me to vent a lot of my my ideas already, there are some that go beyond the ‘E’ rating there, and I’d rather not compromise all of them just for the sake of allowing some more ‘T’ rated stuff there.

Because of that, I figured the best solution was to create a sequel ‘story’ with a similar style to the other one, but the chapters uploaded here will be of ‘T’ rating only, and each chapter will have a content warning for what exactly makes it ‘T’ rated, despite the ‘story’ itself possessing none of them.

1. Acknowledgement (Mentions of Death, Torture, and Blood): A letter from Queen Chrysalis to Princess Celestia details just how much her hive suffered before and after their defeat at Canterlot.
2. Potions & Sex (Mentions of Sex and Sex-Enhancing Potions): Zecora despises how often she’s seen as nothing more than a means to fulfilling fetishes.
3. Maniac (Suicidal Ideation and Quasi-Bullying Trauma): The Mane-iac know just how little others care about her, with those ‘heroes’ destroying anything good that she wanted to get.
4. Cage (Light BDSM and Mentions of Sex): Coco may have made a mistake when she agreed to being caged up for so long, and just wants to stretch her legs.
5. Death (Musing on Death and Killing Another): Tianhuo reflects on how people are afraid of Death after defeating someone in a duel.
6. Shattered (Death and Grieving): Twilight Sparkle died to help defeat the Storm King, and now Equestria’s heroes are lost without her, as Tempest is soon to find out.
7. Names and Friendship (Relation to Shattered): Tempest Shadow arrives at the oddly named Friendship Castle, and discovers that the Elements’ friendship is more broken than she could’ve imagined.
8. Open and Free: (Nudity and Exhibitionism): Lightning Dust and Rolling Thunder race through a rainy street while wearing practically nothing.

In my time creating stories, I’ve come up with tons of ideas I simply don’t have the time nor the motivation to make a full story out of.

Some of those ideas are hardly even conducive to the concept, and are best explored in a short story with only themselves to show, rather than as part of something that would dilute them.

So, here, I will be posting much shorter stories that focus on something rather specific, meant in some level to vent my pent-up ideas as well as to serve as future inspiration to both myself and anyone else who wishes to read them.

1. Panic: Twilight Sparkle experiences yet another instance of nearly falling into panic before a school test.
2. Patience: Fluttershy heads outside after a long day to meet her only friend that has the patience to wait for her.
3. Breathe: Princess Luna has just returned from her Moon, and finds the sensations so many don’t even register as painful beyond compare.
4. Fire & Rain: Tianhuo experiences the odd and calming nature of rain, while Autumn Blaze rejoices in its beauty.
5. Travel: Trixie reflects on the many sights and cultures she has seen on her travels, and asks herself why others keep themselves from doing the same.
6. Altitude: Lightning Dust explains to Rainbow Dash what the ramifications of going quickly between the surface and a cloud city really are. (The slightest of profanity warnings here)
7. Imitation: Octavia speaks with a distraught Rarity about how much the mare confines herself to what others expect of her.
8. Ego & Effort: Tianhuo has a stern talk with Rainbow Dash about how little effort she puts into her crafts, and just how much she thinks she deserves in comparison.
9. Wasted: Tempest Shadow has trapped Twilight Sparkle, and talks down to her with how little the unicorn has actually done with all the effort Celestia has put into her.
10. Heartbeat: High Heel enjoys a night with her marefriend, Mane-iac, who struggles to deal with all the emotion sent her way in the cutest possible manner.
11. Peace & Mania: High Heel watches her marefriend, Mane-iac, sleep, and finds herself unable to understand how anyone else can’t find her beautiful.

In an Equestria filled with various different types of creatures, Lightning Dust never quite fit in, in a number of ways, not the least of which was the flight suit for her position in the Wonderbolt cadets was only made with other species in mind. She goes to a seamstress to get it fixed, but all the questions she has to answer there gets her one in response, one that she doesn’t know the answer to.

Scootaloo has had a crush on Twilight for some time, with the librarian’s cute expressions and passionate lectures being quite attractive on their own, but with how Twilight doesn’t care about what others want her to be letting her body build enough chub to make her even cuter, even despite how much older she is than Scootaloo.

Unfortunately, though, neither of them had any real romantic experience, and combined with both of their general awkwardness, Scootaloo was sure that nothing would every come from that attraction, no matter how hard she tried. But, a conversation with her adoptive sister, Rainbow Dash, may change that.

Teen rating for relatively sexual thoughts and some promiscuous actions, but nothing explicit.
A romance fic set in an AU where everyone is about a half-dozen years older, between Scootaloo and Twilight Sparkle with light themes of accepting one’s sexuality and physical shape.

Technology has granted us many wonders, from an abundance of sustenance, buildings that reached for the sky, and a network that digitally connects the world being just a few. However, with these advancements must come a price; there’s little purpose in merely living, smog covers cities and chokes their inhabitants, and the night is bathed in a dull glow that blocks out the stars.

Too many ponies have become complacent in what they have, but one, a creation of technology herself, has had more than enough of it. The structure of society in this modern age has trapped and tortured her for years, and the technology and magic that suffuses the world only adds fuel to the fire, but when an opportunity presents itself in the form of a beautiful and free travelling showmare, she may finally get the chance to escape she’s been so desperate for.

Coco Pommel and Gilda could hardly be any more different; one is a rather normal schoolgirl with a nice, reserved demeanor, good grades, and safe hobbies, while the other is the bully that everyone on campus fears to some extent, even if they do manage to keep her just inside of the rules.

However, despite what most may expect, Coco can’t keep herself away from Gilda for long--the griffon’s large, burly form lights a fire in the petite earth pony, and while it normally makes her face burst into flames and her gait turn a little funny, finding out something she should’ve expected finally makes her take a step towards making her dreams come true.

I’m doing something a bit different with this one, as while usually I tend to focus on a specific point above all else, here I’m just trying to make a nice ship-fic. I would appreciate some feedback and constructive criticism.

Sunset Shimmer has long felt restricted by Princess Celestia’s strict teachings and schedules, and while she does respect the immortal mare to do what she asks, she can’t help but feel like there’s a lot more she could be doing with her life.
However, when off on an errand, she finally gets shown by somepony who what really is out there and how nothing is really like what her dear mentor wants her to believe it is.

My entry for the Sunset x Trixie Shipping Competition

This is less of a ship than it is an exercise in storytelling, with added elements of realistic naïve politics and conceited nobility.

As much as Sunset loves being the personal student of Princess Celestia herself, sometimes she can’t help but feel she’s being held back by the Princess. Too many lessons waste her time in teaching her things like ‘being the bigger mare’ and ‘restraining oneself’, rather than teaching her actually useful magic.

After a particularly heated discussion on the matter with the titular Mare of the Sun, Sunset bumps into a gorgeous orange mare with the most dazzling scarlet and golden mane. Even better than the spellbinding physique of the unicorn was her knowledge of incredible magics and the promise to teaching them to the young pupil.

With all that, how could Sunset not follow the pony into whatever deep, dark hole they went in?
