The Hold has been sealed, and the Champion’s mission complete.

Most of them have their homes to return to, but not Oleander. The Order was hardly good to her, especially after her pact with a Demon, so where should she go now that her eternal mission is now complete?

There is that city of Reindeer where Velvet could put a good word in for her, and that other one that might be keen on getting to know her better.

They float between worlds, but not forever.

And they land somewhere else, in a place so far removed from what they know, yet eerily similar.

She was little more than a clone, and one that always failed.

It was no surprise, being made in the reflection of perfection, but why did everyone else care so much about her, especially Sunset, who went so far as to marry her?

She went with it back then, but only under the belief that she could be more than just a sub-par version of Twilight. She gave herself a new name to fit that—Eclipse—but that name should’ve been her first clue it was all futile.

Now, her entire existence and use to the world is dependent upon the answer to one question: What does she have that Twilight doesn’t?

Inspired by a Tumblr post here, about what would happen to the show if Twilight Sparkle was killed off and Tempest Shadow introduced in her place.

I made the first chapter of this story as an entry in More is Less, but since getting ideas for new additions to the world, and not feeling like they all properly fit the mold of that anthology series, I have decided to put them into this story.
This is still, on some level, an anthology, but all the events are related and I’m just looking into them at different points, akin to a normal story but with more time between chapters.

High Heel is a renowned thief within Maretropolis, having gone on more heists than she could count and having stolen everything from priceless gemstones to ancient paintings, but it was always just a source of money and fun for her; she hardly cared for a single thing she stole—unless it was heels, that is.

However, the one thing she found most priceless was stolen by another, and not even intentionally, for once she finally locked eyes with the notorious Mane-iac, she knew that the greatest heist was of her own heart.

After everything they went through together, he threw her away like nothing, and the worst part is, Oleander shouldn’t even have been surprised.

Arizona had voiced her concern and Tianhuo adamantly despised concept of working with him, but Oleander never listened, often staying on his side during arguments that really should have indicated that something was off with him, but that’s probably what he was counting on. Slowly manipulating her and turning her against the others so that they couldn’t stop him when he showed his true colours, and now...

She had nothing to lose.

So why did the others care so much about keeping her around?
