Gotcha! I admit I was specifically made curious as an old game I recently replayed (Star Ocean 2) has a character named Precis, I wondered if there was a connection.

I randomly generated a few dozen adjective noun pairs and picked the one I liked best. There's a little meaning to the name in that both words are evocative of friendly online communication, but no more than that. I wanted a name with a bit of personality that still wouldn't give away big identifying clues.
