It's been about a year since the friendship games. The fall formal is coming up and Sugarcoat is wearing the same plain blue dress she always does. That shall not stand! Sour Sweet insists she help her pick a new one, but does she have an ulterior motive? Even if she does it's unlikely Sugarcoat will pick up on it. Subtly isn't her strong suit.

Sour Sweet just wants for live her life without distraction. Then she walks in on Fluttershy in a tutu dress her legs completely visible. Now she can't get it out of her mind. Why would her brain do this?!

Two mares try to work together. They end up arguing, which leads to a confession. The first mare is a stubborn. workaholic, farm mare and other is Applejack.

It's clear as day Twilight and Applejack like each other, but neither is doing anything about it. They're both trying to deflect her but she's not going to take this lying down! Especially when she knows how sad they both are.

She auditions for a tree, but gets a callback for Cinderella. Unable to turn down the role, Fluttershy is incredibly anxious. Luckily for her Applejack is more than willing to help with her lines. When new feelings start to develop what will Fluttershy do? More importantly can she become Cinderella?

Sunset insists on meeting her. Desperate, Twilight asks the nearest girl to pretend to be her girlfriend.
