Hiccup Stumbles is spending yet another night doing his name justice.

This is from a prompt from Bean's Writing Group, inspired by Short-tale's story, The "Q" Word. It's not strictly mandatory to undestand what's going on, but I recommend reading it.

After years together, a daring question on Sunset's part, and an even more daring 'yes' from Wallflower, they both now live in the after-bliss of life. They have a house, they own a gardening shop, their daily routine is one and the same, always together. Sunset even ditched the motorcycle for a car — Wallflower thinks it's safer.

The memories of the last time they fought or disagreed are non-existent. Maybe they never did.

There would be little point in reminiscing those times, anyway. What mattered was that they were happy. Always.

Fancy Pants is tired of perfection. He knows very well that many don’t achieve the success he has, that fewer have the popularity that he does, and that none can claim to have a wife like his.

A humble pony he is not.

Yet, his boredom has faced against all of those niceties, ripped them to meaningless shreds and came out the victor. So he decided to take the reins of his life for once, no matter the consequences.

At least, that's what he told the warden of Canterlot Correctional Facility.

Hearts and Hooves day is a day to be celebrated. Indeed, the whole of Manehattan set itself up for the day of Love. Pink streamers in Mane Street, couples posing together, discounts on the most romantic restaurants, swaying ponies, joyful smiles... it all accentuated the urban sights.

But not everypony can afford to live on Mane Street. Happy Bundle sure can't.

So she planned to celebrate this date in the same way she survived all other dates of the year: with alcohol, succor, and not a single second of daylight more than necessary.

She just forgot an important detail.
