Mission Report:

—Squad has arrived in kirin village.

—Have confirmed the body mentioned in the communique to be the remains of Ranger Flintlock of the Royal Guard, though it's undergone rapid decomposition in the three days since its discovery and is nearly unrecognizable. May be impossible to have transported back to Canterlot intact in its current state.

—The earth pony male mentioned to have been found with the body, confirmed as being Professor Green, had disappeared the previous night when most of the locals had turned in. The remaining two members of the expedition—Trace Findings and Doctor Stratum—remain unaccounted for.

—A stack of freshly-written papers was found in the room where the professor was kept for recuperation. Frantically written and smeared in places, but legible enough for our scribe to have transcribed onto the document attached to this scroll.

—Be forewarned: some of its contents are disturbing.

It started off like any Girl's Night Out for Moon Dancer and her four closest friends: meet up at their favorite watering hole and chat/drink away the hours in warm company. The mention of renowned griffon chef Gustave Le Grand comes up in conversation, merely as a throwaway piece of gossip. Only, they end up totally fixated on the subject. So much so that, in little time, they come to understand a profound truth: Gustave Le Grand needed to be in their lives. At any cost.

Equestria would never be the same.

Written for the Season 10 Bingo Writing Contest.

This fic will include: five very thirsty mares, public disturbances, blatant disregard for the law, street rumbles, destruction of property, shameless Prench accent, a literal cat fight, obvious references, ten banana creme pies, a bevvy of bad decisions, voyeuristic intentions, child endangerment, irresponsible royalty, a poor attempt at replicating a Brooklyn accent, societal breakdown, a shoehorned lesson, and one inexplicably irresistible cat-bird.

Cover art done by me, and inspired by this.

This story is a sequel to Death by Dragon

I thought I was done. I honestly did; wouldn't you think so too? Everything had wrapped up so neatly, or about as neat as it could be. Even after all of Discord's meddling; the tragedies that unfolded; the toppling of a dynasty; I managed to save not only myself, but Twilight as well. Things quieted down; we finally had the chance to recover, to rest. To have some semblance of normality after so much suffering...

But sometimes you just have to put in that extra effort to make sure it stays that way.

This story is a sequel to Rari-noia

The season of Hearth's Warming has come to Ponyville in full force. What's more, the intriguing musical being from another world has come to partake in the celebrations for a special appreciation concert! Indeed, a very exciting holiday looks to be in store for the simple town.

Yet, a colder air than usual seems to be blowing in from the distant horizon. A potentially foreboding chill, waiting to arrive under the cover of night. And it seems only Rarity is aware of it...

She only wanted to wander a silent land, to have time to herself. To be away from everything, if only briefly. Certainly the last place one would find company. And yet, what awaits over that horizon?

This story is a sequel to Rare-ified

Ever since the night of the town-wide music video shoot, Rarity had been acting rather odd. Ponies have noticed her looking somewhat unnerved, glancing over her shoulder from time to time. She passes it off as nothing whenever asked, and just goes about her business like normal afterward. But what could be making her so uneasy? What troubles plague her mind? And why won't she tell anyone about them?

Very few residents of Ponyville have a life as joyful and carefree as that of the bubbly Derpy Hooves. A good job, a loving daughter, and friends aplenty, all under a warm blanket of indefatigable optimism. Yet when a mysterious stallion moves into town, a waylaid package may give the happy-go-lucky mare a chance to say hello. Perhaps something even more...

Chapters (4)

Just another beautiful average day in Ponyville, that's how it started out for Twilight. Just having a trot about without a major care of the world. How was she supposed to anticipate the sheer horror, devastation, and utter absurdity of the storm that was to strike?

At least she can take comfort in the fact she won't be the only one feeling the sting of it come tomorrow. If there will even be one.
