Equestria never really existed. It's a dream world, conjured up by the talking ponies of Earth, who wanted to be more than subordinate to the humans who run their lives.

But Rainbow Dash never cared for their ideas. She loved her job, loved her coworkers (even the humans), and wouldn't trade them for the world.

She thought they loved her just as much.

She's an evil enchantress!
She does evil dances!
And if you look deep into her eyes,
She will put you in trances!
Then what will she do?
She'll mix up an evil brew!
And she'll gobble you up
In a big tasty stew!

But would Pinkie Pie really say something so mean about somepony she's never met?

Being a bestselling author, A.K. Yearling gets more than enough fan mail. She gets letters every day from adoring readers and publishers. She'd be sick of it, if every once in a while, she didn't get a letter that she actually likes.

With an obscure evil on the horizon, the princesses must act fast. Twilight obviously thinks she's the best choice, but Celestia chooses to send Discord instead! Twilight must prove her worth, so she turns her attention to the chest from the Tree of Harmony.

In order to open it, she needs six keys. All of her friends have found mysterious, shiny objects, but she has yet to find one of her own. Thus begins her quest.

This might also need a Comedy tag.

The Elements of Harmony have been returned to their tree, and their bearers are free to live normal lives again. Free to relax, knowing that their days of saving the world are over.

Then the war starts. And one pony can't shake the idea that she needs to help, to be loyal to her country.

But what about staying loyal to those she loves?

Every afternoon, at four o'clock exactly, Princess Celestia sits down in her garden to a pot of tea and a plate of cake.

Every afternoon. Without fail.

Except for that fateful day, when she is given... jam and bread. While unexpected, maybe this isn't entirely unwelcome.

All Fluttershy wants to do is help animals. Even when it might prove dangerous to her, she sacrifices herself for the well-being of her critters.

Being in the Apple Family comes with its struggles. Living in Ponyville requires a lot of patience. But having to live with both? May the Princesses help that poor pony.

This is a simple story of sacrifice, shyness, wise old grannies, rodents of unusual intelligence, apples, magic, and a whole lot of love.
