I assume that that last portion of the story was them engaging in... questionable activities...
Loyal, I have to say, I followed this story from chapter 1 and to see it finished now... There's a sense of accomplishment, of finality and completion (disregarding the "complete" tag) that comes with this work. The good, the bad, and the horny: I loved it all, man!
Wee typo. Although I am also slightly nitpicky about "Savant," being a word 99% of the time used for someone who can essentially do everything in one subject and fail all others, this is still correct. Don't mind me.
And I have absolutely fallen in love with this story. I have no idea as to why I never read it sooner.
This was a fun enough story. Read it in one sitting, so it certainly grabbed me. Couple of things that bugged me a bit:
Rarity and Octavia got together very quickly, a little bit more build up certainly wouldn't have hurt. I suppose it served some kind of a purpose in the story, but even then it happened very quickly. One thing I maybe would have liked a bit more off is explanation and resolution when it came to Vinyl, Twilight and Scootaloo. Sweetie Belle gives her sides of the story when it comes to Scoot, but we never find out how Scoot looks at things. We also never find out why Twilight cheated on Rarity. And Vinyl goes a little bit into her anger issues, but its not saying much.
When it comes to resolution, again, there is almost nothing there. Scoot gets together with Sweetie again apparently, but there is no explanation for either of the two times they split up (once as lovers, once as friends) so because of that it really means very little in the overall story. Scoot is only mentioned three or four times in the whole thing anyway, so there is very little emotional investment there for the reader. Truthfully, I just didn't care about them getting back together. Sweetie could have found love with anyone else, or find peace with waiting for the right person to come along just as well as this. Perhaps that would have been a little better even.
With Twilight and Vinyl, there is some emotional investment. You do feel sort of sorry for them. With Twilight, its really... almost annoying seeing her like this, because its not the Twilight we know at all. This is not a bad thing per se, but again, there is no explanation. What was going through her mind when she decided to cheat on Rarity? She apparently did feel guilt when she came clean, but throughout most of the story she is almost business like. She doesn't quite seem to grab yet what she did meant to Rarity. And when she approaches Rarity at her wedding, she still comes over as selfish. "Please forgive me Rarity, I am hurting way more then you and I lost all of my friends." Very presumptuous to assume her own actions hurt her more then they did Rarity, and the apology falls a bit flat when she seems to feel more sorry for herself then her ex. You are just waiting for an emotional speech from her, trying to explain why she did what she did. And maybe some point at the end where she has found some sort of peace with her bad decisions and her place in life, but it never comes.
Vinyl's anger issues... If this is a world with phones, cars, et cetera, shouldn't there be therapists? Rarity has medicine for her high blood pressure, aren't there some kind of drugs to help Vinyl mellow out? You kind of feel that more than a wagging finger she needs professional help. Throughout the story both Twilight and Vinyl have obvious issues, and it seems the story is building up to something there. Yet in the end its basically "fuck 'em." This maybe could be an essential part of a story, but in this case as far as I can see there is no point to it at all. They just suffer because the author decided that they needed to without any benefit to the plot I can see. In contrast, what does Scoot's part add? Sweetie Belle could have moved in with Rarity for any other reason and as far as I can tell the story wouldn't be any different if Scoot was never even mentioned.
Because of this, the ending was somewhat unsatisfying, but overall it was a good read. I feel like I should give some positive viewpoints as well. I certainly was invested in Twilight, Octavia, Rarity, Vinyl and Sweetie Belle, at least until the end. Amy was also an interesting character, although for the most part because you were waiting for her to do something vital to the story, which never really happens. There's not really a build up there for anything either though, so that's fine. Might have been nice to see a bit more of the friendship between her and Rarity. Clearly they are close, but maybe a scene were Amy would have really been there for Rarity would have made me a bit more emotionally invested in her. But that's really, really minor. Geez, I don't think anything really stood out to me in a positive way. I just wanted to find out what was going to happen to these characters and I didn't stop reading until I did. So yeah, definitely invested in the story, so hopefully that makes up for some my gripes with it ^^
Sorry if this is obvious and I'm just stupid...but i presume Rarity spat before speaking?

I'd assume so. She was brushing and flossing before and during the conversation respectively so it makes sense.

I am assuming the anniversary is one year since they started dating???
Finally got around to reading this chapter. And I have only one thing to say: I WANT A SEQUEL! ...That is, only if you want to....

Commence read.
So there are 16?
And then there are more?
