Trixie was running through the everfree forest with anger and sadness in her eyes. What she had just seen completely broke her heart and shattered her dreams. Her rival, Her biggest rival in all of Equestria, has become an alicorn. A transformation that unicorns can go into when the discover the "secret". It pissed her off that she was far behind her.

"HOW! HOW CAN YOU DO THIS TO ME!?! I THOUGHT AFTER I APOLOGIZE TO YOU AND CONSIDER YOU AN FRIEND, YOU AND I WILL BE EQUALS!! AND YOU TURN YOUR BACK AND BECAME A GOD!!" She yelled to nopony in particular.

Truth be told, she was happy for her in the same time but ashamed and felt abandoned as well. She sat under a tree and bury her face in her hooves

"I don't understand....how could this happened? How could the gap between our magic had gotten so big?" She cried.

She remember when she first met Twilight, It was a warm spring day and she was doing her show to show off her magic tricks that she work so hard on. That she, alone did. She remember how she outdone all of Twilight's friends and made ponyville. How good it felt to be Great and Powerful. But then when that Ursa Minor shown up, Twilight! The rival of her life had defeated it. The whole town shunned her and booed her, and when it happened; she ran away from the hurtful words.

"You were no match for me back then, I was superior to you in every aspect" She quietly said within tears.

Her mind wandered to the time how she heard of the "famous" Twilight before she went to ponyville to do her magic show. How she had defeated nightmare moon. It was pissing her off to whole new level.

"But some explicable power seem to be radiating off from you, If you were able to beat nightmare moon and a Ursa Minor, then you had to be powerful. I couldn't take it anymore, LIVE OR DIE I WAS WILLING TO DO Anything!! to beat you!!"

She shed a few tears and clenched her teeth in anger and sadness. She was alone and she was useless, Twilight had beaten her. She truly had nothing, her mother was killed by an Ursa Minor. Her father left her when she was just a filly. Her home was destroyed and everypony in ponyville completely hates her.

She then remembered how Twilight saved ponyville from the Ursa Minor and Rainbow Dash was about to attack her. But Twilight let her go. She had spared her, letting her go was a sting to her pride.

"You had let me go Twilight, I thought it was just an act of a pity; that I was this helpless foal! But then I realized, being spared by you was worse than losing to you Twilight. It was then, I couldn't get you out of my mind" She said to herself.

She slowly walked around the forest until she felt a raindrop on her head. Great! Just bucking great! It's raining! and it'll rain hard. And her speculations were correct, it did rain hard, pretty hard. She ran to find shelter when she spotted an empty cave. She trotted towards the entrance and went inside, curling up and looking outside, listening to the rain fall. It was misery, she missed having a warm bed, a nice meal, parents and love. She was so jealous of Twilight, not only she is a princess and the element of magic. But she has tons and tons of friends, while herself, have none.

"Your a princess and I'm just a low-level pony that nopony cares for or even forgotten, I deserve this. I wish I had friends to share my pain with. I just wish what it would be like to be in your hooves. To be.....loved!."

Trixie let out a few tears, she's been crying for 15 minutes. It really hurts her that Twilight is now a princess while she, "Great and Powerful Trixie" is just a pony. Twilight has everything, while she doesn't have anything. It's not fair, she didn't ask for this, why does Celestia have to be so cruel to her. She then remember when she returned to ponyville to do her revenge, how she almost beaten Twilight.

Flashback

Trixie and Twilight stood across from each other glaring and daring for the other to make a move. Trixie smirked as she thought of something out of hoof.

"Draw!" She called out as she shot a beam of red energy into a moving cart filled with crates of apples and threw it towards a light blue mare.

Twilight quickly saw this and used a levitation spell to lift the cart away from the mare and into a safe spot. She then saw Trixie threw some pies at her. Using her quick thinking, she summoned a parasprite to eat the pies and as soon it was done, it multiply. She quickly send them away before she had another parasprite disaster. But before she could react, she noticed there was a shadow looming over her. Looking up, she noticed what appeared to be snow dropped on her, using a melting spell, snow was nothing more than small puddles of water. She then use a spell on her and made Trixie a mustache

Like before, everypony laughed at her. Including her friends, her hurtful annoying friends. Ignoring the laughter's, she use a spell to summon a pair of scissors to cut away the hair that was on her face. She was angry, how dare Twilight make a foal of the Great and Powerful Trixie! TWICE!! She decided to bring in the big guns

"SNIPS! SNAILS! Step forward!" Trixie commanded.

The 2 odd looking unicorns step towards Trixie with nervousness and obvious fear. They were shaken of her power and her capabilities.

"W-What is it, ol gre-great and pow-powerful trixie?" asked Snips.

Trixie shot an energy spell at Snips and Snails, they were lifted up in the air and with bright flash of light, they had became aged. With Snips an crying foal and Snails an old pony, Twilight was completely shocked of this spell

"An age spell? B-But how could you do an age spell?! That's only for the highest level unicorns!" Asked an bewildered Twilight.

"Well Twilight, give up?" Trixie asked.

Twilight sighed knowing this spell was very very very difficult, but she had to do it anyway. She could let her friends down. Twilight try to conjure the spell and change them back to the youth, but with the lack of studying the spell and it's difficulty, she couldn't do it. She had failed everypony, she had failed herself.

"Trixie IS the highest level unicorn, and now it is time for you to leave ponyville. FOREVER!!!" Trixie said

End Flashback

"I've tried to find out what makes you so powerful, but I couldn't. Everyday you were so more powerful than me, Not even the alicorn amulet made me to even come close to your power. And yet, what pisses me off even more is that when I apologized..you still forgave me"

Her mind went to the moment she was defeated by Twilight and her friends. She was truly amazing, she couldn't take it anymore that she felt so low beneath her. She was better, stronger and dare she say it, prettier than her

"Twilight....Your incredible. Your the only pony I know who is truly the greatest. I think I can finally understand why I, the great and powerful Trixie cannot compare to you. Your not showing off your skills or trying to be the best, only to learn new things and being ready for the next level. That's why you have so many friends, you care for the ponies around you and not worry about what the power you possess. Though it makes me so mad, how a mare of your status could be THIS strong and yet still hold powerful friendships. You are a princess. Your better than me Twilight Sparkle, You are, Great and Powerful"

She just had to admit it, She was way below her and Twilight had already reached the top. She couldn't be mad at her anymore, She has reached the goal that was Trixie's along time ago. To be the strongest unicorn in all of equestria. Not only she had reached it but she became an princess, has a coltfriend by the name Comet Tail, is the student of Celestia, has so many friendships. A loving family that trixie doesn't even have and to top it all off, love. She has love and Trixie does not, she sighed deeply, letting a few tears fall, knowing that she'll never achieve something like that.

"She has beaten me completely, first by her own actions and then through her friends. And what has she left for me here?! How! How could you surpass me like that Twilight?! I'll....never.....have the chance.....to.....impress you! You'll sacrifice your own magic without fear or regret. So what does that make of me?" She said to herself while crying, she took off her hat and cape and threw it outside, letting the clothes blow away with the howling wind.

"I am no unicorn or great and powerful and I'll never perform magic ever again...." She said with a sad decision.

She curled up on the cave floor, crying herself to sleep knowing that she'll never have a chance of happiness.

There were a lot of errors in this story, but I really don't want to get into detail. You chose good background music to go with it which was almost redeeming. You still get my thumbs up, but you should consider getting an editor and pre-reader to look at your stories before posting it.
