Sorry, but I cannot read anything that has to do with CoD. No offense to you sir, as I had not read the story. But, I do have to say that not only is CoD so lame nowadays with its weak stories and tiresome repetitious gameplay, both campaign and multiplayer, but the whole CoD in Equestria has been done too many times for my blood. And the whole US Army in Equestria is also getting to be a bit stale.

Am I downvoting for your writing skills? No, I am not. I downvote because of your choice in crossover and use of cliched plot element. I don't know how well (or horrible) you write so I cannot nor will not comment on your writing style. My vote is nothing to do with that.

Am I biased because of the whole Halo/CoD flamewars? A little, yes, but it also has to do with the fact that the CoD games lately since MW2 have mostly STAYED THE F*CKING SAME. I am not here to start a CoD/Halo flame war, nor am I going to respond to comments of any sort.

My comment is simply that this kind of thing has been (excuse my lack of a better term) flogged like a dead horse one too many times. All of the CoD/MLP fics I have seen turn out to be nothing but hogwash action nonsense with no true substance behind it, just like the garbage they were inspired from.

Forgive me if I sound like a troll, as I am not, I am just expressing my discontent.

Well, it's not bad. There are some good and bad things that I've noticed so far.

Spelling and grammar seems to be good, although don't take my word for it, it's not something I normally look out for. At least it's not obvious.

The, interesting thing is the characterisation. For the humans, all good. They seem to be well characterised. However the ponies, the mane 6, seem a little off. I don't really feel like they're the ponies that we all know and love.

I'll keep reading, but I'll hold on to the like for now.

Heheh lovin the humour...

I noticed a couple a things this time. Just a couple I f times you missed some punctuation and formatting thingies, but nothing too crippling.

And how many times did you use the word "gear"? Yeesh that was impressive!

On another note, there are a few more errors in the writer etc. Nothing new. However I noticed a few odd plot holes which are kinda annoying. However it may be just me because I'm overcritical of plots.

It's mostly the way you've described the people in the countries they've been in. Afghanis and Pakistanis aren't Arabs. Therefor they don't have Arab accent. Pakistanis are more Indian and Afghanis more Russian or Turkish.

Another thing is the timezones you have been using. Great idea and it fits in well, however you're using the wrong info. Technically, there is no middle eastern time zone, and the closest thing to that would be GST, Gulf Standard Time (gmt +4). However, again Afghanistan and Pakistan are not in this time zone. Afghanistan is gmt +4:30 and Pakistan is gmt +5.

In reality, it really doesn't matter that much, but I have a bad habit of subconsciously looking for plot holes, including tiny details like that one.

In the end, it got too repetitive for me. There were many errors that were repeated etc. It wasn't necessarily bad, but not one of my preferences.

1902647 While I agree with you for the most part, I'd like to point out that Black Ops 2 felt quite new and fresh, at least compared to the others. The story was better and the multiple endings affected by your choices were a nice touch. Definitely not the prodigy of first person shooters like the fanbase makes it out to be, but a pleasant surprise nonetheless.
