Little Wing, an Earth Pony born to Pegasi parents, has to come to terms with both their death and his blank flank, even though he is considered an "adult" by pony law. But one day, he accepts an offer that changes his life forever. Granted with a power of a god, a power he never truly wanted, he now must face the challenges that come along with his new power....
SHIT'S ABOUT TO GO DOWN!
It's the calm before The Storm.
dun, dun, tish. Me and my lil drum set.
Okay, lets have a look at your synopsis, because it is bugging me.
Comma after "parents" and change to "with both their death and his blank flank".
Adult, not stallion. Unless he's trans.
Rewrite. It sounds like he dosen't want the god, not the power.
Change to "his new power". Elipses only have three periods in them (...)

1720114 In time, good sir. In time.

So fast...
1720132 Someone actually used the Photo Finish emoticon.

Well, it was the only one that fit.
I think.
My abilty to recognise expressions is...impeaded, I think the word is, by my dyspraxia.
Or something like that. I tend to tune out the psychologists when they start talking.
Make them tiny pony faces as well and thats a recipie for confusion.
1720157 Face is a waste.

Ok. Thanks bro!
I'll do exactly as you say o master of the synopsis. Please, teach me sensei.
1720205
Technically, I just did.
The important things to remember are:
1. It has to flow.
2. It has to provide a succinct summary of the story
3. Your synopsis is 100% pure advertising. You have to be able to sell your story with it.
But seriously, ProfCharles, thanks.
So how goes the story? Good, bad, meh?
1720228
But that's the thing, I'm really humble, and whenever I write to advertise, I feel like I'm whoring myself out. I guess I just have to work on it.

There are two types of fanfic-fanfic you write for yourself and fanfic you write for attention. The first must remain on your hard drive for all of eternity. The second you must throw around the internet like a 3 for 2 promotion at Taco Bell. Its the difference between a good, but unknown author and a good, but popular author.
Not that there is anything wrong with being humble. Heck, I hate boasting about my achivements, but in order to be noticed you have to go out an flog your stuff.
And besides, a good synopsis is an indication of a good author, whilst a bad synopsis...

Yeah, I understand. Thanks for the feedback. I live for this kind of stuff because actually tells me what I need to do better. Sometimes it just gets really annoying when you get a bunch of people saying "I love the story!" and then a bunch of others saying "Work on it!. The worst is when you ask what was wrong with your work, AND THEN THEY NEVER GIVE YOU FEEDBACK! Right there is what drives me into writer-rage.
