Years after Cozy Glow's rather unusual alternate punishment, she still feels bad about the imprisonment of her old partners in crime. As such, she visits the changeling hive with a proposal that would lead to freedom for their former queen... at a very sore cost for the former monarch.

What would make this work? That's what I thought when I finished reading this. How would this make Chrysalis better? It would probably make anyone worse. I can guess how it works on cozy Glow, but christmas is already a vindictive character for small flaws and minor inconveniences. If they chose to let Chrysalis free after this, see what become an absolute monster and be justified in the way for being that. On top of that, isn't Chrysalis covered in basically armor?

To be honest, its not really supposed to make her better per say. The entire point of it is so that she be allowed permanently out of stone so that the actual rehabilitation process can take place. Basically, the changelings needed to see her punished in order to accept her living in the hive. And we really don't know that much about changeling biology so I just assume they feel pain the same way a pony would.

I actually wrote this, along with some other stuff years ago as greentexts which I then converted to prose. I recently decided to post them here partially for archival purposes, but mostly out of boredom. I do have similar stories, which I'll probably post eventually.

I get what you were trying to do but the changelings no chrysalis well enough to know this would not work. Being honest they said no. As soon as they turn their backs on her, see what do something like. Poison the punch and watch them all choke to death. Let's not forget how even when she was offered friendship She did not accept. See what prefer being an isolation equivalently banished from her people then to allow herself to become what they were. I seriously doubt Chrysalis with honestly accept any form of rehabilitation after that embarrassment. As a changeling, I would be scared of for my life that I am not only allowing someone we know that is an ego maniac into my home after humiliating them, but we're also pretty much allowing them full reins of the hive. And we do know the chancelings have a care paste which is armor for bugs that covers their whole body. The comic books clarifies this a little bit more when they explain how all chancellorants have holes in their legs because Celestia sought them with superheated laser before throwing them into a volcano. Ceiling the volcano to pretty much kill them before a dragon came and opened up the volcano free in the chancellings.
