Oh, golly! So, yeah! My name is Cozy Glow and yeah, I'm one of the three villains who was frozen into stone... Well, I woke up in the middle of the night later, but my two friends were still stone... I didn't really know why, but I knew I had to get out of there! So, I fled north to the Everfree Forest!
I don't really know how much time has passed, but I do know that it was a long time... I went back to check on things and I saw something that broke my heart... I saw Twilight Sparkle being very mean to one of her subjects... I'll admit that something inside me snapped at that very moment... I have to make Equestria better again!

Well, the point of the story is that both Cozy Glow and Twilight Sparkle have changed a lot over the years... Now that I've set a premise, I can begin to craft the rest of this tale...
Interesting premise, though I don't really buy Cozy Glow being bothered over Twilight hurting somepony or potentially becoming a tyrant. A surprised yes, but genuinely bothered, not really. I think more likely, she would see Tyrant Twilight's tyranny as on opportunity to rally ponies towards her cause of overthrowing her and hopefully installing herself as ruler instead. And maybe, finding a true heroic side in her along the way.
Still, interesting start and I look forward to seeing where this goes.

That is a good point, actually. But what I was wanting was for Cozy to have realizations while in stone... Still, a potentially useful angle for later and we could even see a battle between good and evil going on inside Cozy here? Actually, that gives me an idea...

Interesting unicorn character, kind of gives me a Pinkie Pie vibe. Wonder if there's a connection there.
I wonder what the deal is with Twilight though. How did she turn evil? Or did she turn evil?
I think the problem here is goody two shoe cozy. She's too boring.
She could be some kind of anti-hero that could grown and become something else as story progress, but no. Her realization happened even before the story start. She had no internal conflict. She has too little flaws.
