Strings pulled, and yet one who seems to be a puppet has chosen a seemingly different path. Except, maybe those choices were there to enact the final decision? Wheels are turning here, but where did they start? And where do they end? Is it merely wheels spinning in a system or are they really cogs and gears?
Can't wait for Rettie to really meet Ami. Feels like the two would really develop a good friendship
What a cute chapter. I feel sorry for Rettie, being faced with the wisdom of Miss Velvet and her rather scary observations.
Poor Teadrop, the life of a traveler seems so friendless. At least she can help Rettie avoid that realization, if those two ever decide to travel together.
