In the end not too much really changed, but Festercast learned more about herself, about ponies, and even about changelings. What strange bedfellows one can make when they live an interesting life. I loved this story, so many ideals and ideas vying to take control, and our main character was a grim pouty delight to enjoy.

i thoroughly enjoyed this! too many of these types of stories are tryhard in their edgyness and have the protagonist going around killing just for the fun of it. but festercast wasnt as black-and-white as those characters are - she is a person, not a simple archetype, and its truly refreshing.
