It's from Sonic and the Black Knight, a Wii exclusive released in 2009. Considered to have one of the best stories of any Sonic game-which is unfortunately paired with some pretty wonky gameplay.

I have seen all the cutscenes from that game but must've forgotten as when I looked back to sonic games of the 2000s I think of the 06 game and unleashed, which imo is one of the best sonic games and has an interesting story and plot.
