that was ceirtanly something morbid.

Good job, author! I haven't read a horror story this engaging, repulsive and morbid in quite a lot of time. Reminds me of the fandom's old grimdark classics, such as Cupcakes, Cherilee's Garden, Rainbow Factory and Sweet Apple Massacre.

Oh my gosh, thank you so so much, that means the world to me!! I always loved and looked up to the classics, and hoped maybe one day to write something good enough to join them, so to hear it reminds you is the best thing ever! :rainbowkiss: Thank you again for your kind words, I truly appreciate it!

No problem. If this story was written back in the early 2010's, it would certainly be among them.

I'm so glad you like it so far! Honestly, gore stories like Cupcakes and Rainbow Factory have always besn my absolute favorites, so I really wanted to have my own in there with them. :twilightblush:

I'm so glad you didn't went with the cliche ending of"it was just a dream", however one thing bothers me(and please take it as a nitpick, not true criticism):why did they decide that Daisy got lost?isn't FS's cottage the last house near Everfree? And they just assumed it was her first time going to Fluttershy?
I don't know, the explanation feels kinda rushed, especially since we don't know if Fluttershy was interrogated or not.

I appreciate the feedback! The reason I went with her getting lost is because the Everfree is such a dangerous and magical place, even traveling near it might be enough for something to happen. Maybe she was chased by wolves, maybe she really did just take the wrong path, or maybe something in the forest called her in. The townsfolk would know that there's just so many possibilities with the Everfree, it's generally accepted to just say she got "lost" rather than try to figure out what really happened, as investigating can be just as dangerous. At least that's what I think happened — I hope that helps a little! And thank you again for reading my story!

This was morbid to read and I enjoyed it very much. I do like a good horror story.

Fun read. Lots of anxiety as I waited for someone to catch her in the act.
