Chrysalis is a changeling. Changelings look for love to survive. The more love they get the more powerful they get. The more powerful, the more they physically change. If this is correct, would the Changelings look different than how they did when they were first introduced?

I always had the idea the changelings features change according to their primary prey. Changelings in the show feed on Ponies so they look like insect ponies. If they feed off of Griffons they would look more like insect-like Griffins. This could be an interesting idea of different Changeling's nest each going after different prey so appear differently.
